I never knew about that glitch, whenever I wanted to go out of the map on tip of the spear I'd do the banshee glitch to get outside of the shield and what surprises me is the size of the map, at the last checkpoint to destroy the tower when outside of he map you can go over 13,500 metres away from it
Helio is doing pretty good now, the audio is getting better, and its cool to have someone new every now and then to do these videos, I imagine he doesn't do his own videos too often so i'd like to see Helio here growing and getting better at recording videos so I and I imagine many others can see him progress and become a better content creator. Keep up the videos General Heed and Helioskrill, I look forward to your guys continued growth and future videos.

Does this work in MCC now? I remember doing this on Reach a long time ago but I want to know if it'll still work on MCC.
Edit: No, this does not work on MCC due to the new tick rate making you float on vehicles. 343 should probably fix that...
The "shaky" effects on 1st person weapons and arms, as well as the ground, is caused by an issue from being too far away from the center of the map, something to do with the floating-point vertex calculations. Possibly the game cutting the accuracy of the math to save memory. It's something that pretty much all the Halo games have issues with, even H5.

you can do the same thing with a ghost but it's pretty hard you don't need armour lock

theres another way to do it.
you'll want cowbell on.
you play as normal until you get into the spire. then you grab a focus rifle and a plasma pistol. use the plasma pistol to disable and hijack a banshee. make sure it isnt too damaged. fly it onto a small ledge in the cliff, roughly above where the pipes are. do banshee tricks and stuff to get your bashee outside the shield, then hop out and use your focus rifle to push it behind the last tree before getting in. if you dont do that, you'll be forced bsck in. the. you can fly around the battlefield and to the frigates anhthing else with speed and ease.
OPTIONALLY, you can also just ditch your banshee on the ledge and just walk there.
all tbis is written from memory so it may be off, but you get the idea.
I just do the banshee way well did back in like 2009 it's a lot faster
