So glad they're still performing Nazareth live. The song that got me into them and my fav song to this day. The song that I often play drums to. The song that I'll never skip in my playlists. The song that I show my friends who don't know them. And the song that I hope to see live, myself, one day.
Yea that's a strong agree from me. There is something special about it for me as well pulling me just a little bit further in or somewhere a bit different. Worship.

I know right I hear and see no wrong like I know at first I was a little frightened but see what drew me in was the music first and the music speaks for itself. I was just not used to us in all black and makes so my brains first reaction was fright but I come to love them deeply and am no longer afraid. Seeing them like this and not the pics just makes me think “what was I even scared of” these guys are so fun and lively. They are in my top 5 band list now

It was a fantastic performance wasn’t it! Given it was a festival and not a dedicated Sleep Token concert we got a much longer set than I expected… still wouldn’t have minded another hour or two of them!

@@TheBloodTheSteveTheBeers i haven't been to a lot of concerts. Two years ago my wife bought us tickets to a Slipknot show in Kyiv, but the russians broke our plans. Thankfully the guys said they are gonna come after our victory anyway. It remains the case for small - to survive the war and win it 🙂

My bestie started it all the way in 2021 and it has gone global. I was pleased to do this with her again after her smol hiatus from rituals

Jealous, we would have loved to have gone there! We tried to get tickets but they sold out to fast :( So instead we bought tickets to see them at the Radar Festival. And then we bought more to see them at the Leeds festival aswell.

My opinion: the drummer is technically phenomenal 🤘🙂
Its the Drummer(Chad Kent) and singer from Atomship....Check out their album The Crash of '47. Its killer.
He may be the best drummer to come out of the UK in the last 20-25 years. I'm glad he's playing more "musical" music now to show off his talent. He's straight up gifted. I mean the summoning has subdivisions on 6,7 and 3 so it ends up in 16 or 4/4, but gives him so much space to not be repetitive at all. Pretty fucking smart from a music theory perspective.

Thank you for this! I was there in the front and nearly drowned in a sea of people who were way taller and burlier than me, and i kept getting flung around like nothing whenever the mosh pit 20 feet away so much as twitched, but it was the BEST live show I've ever seen.
I have watched just about every live show and everything that has anything to do with sleep token that is posted on you tube and this is way way way by the farthest far away the absolute best that I’ve seen and heard. All the perfect songs. Everything on point. Only that could have been better is me being there myself!

😂 my (short) wife was stood in front of me at the concert and she was also eager to watch the footage so she could see what she was missing! She could see III, the Vesselettes and occasionally Vessel but not much else.

@@lisabyford yes. There was one person in between my wife and the barrier, so 2nd & 3rd row… but we were at the very left. Seemed to be a very shallow wide stage so could barely even see IV!
Same. Good to see what I missed. I’m short - was 3 back on the right, behind the worlds tallest man. I could see iV and ii but not much else unless I went full meercat or peered through a strangers armpit (which I absolutely did for any piano parts and I have no regrets)
@@apotato3072 lol. At 6ft 2” I’m not exactly short, but even I thought damn there’s a lot of tall people here! Also the excessive mist made it harder to see across the stage.

It sounded more like a laugh to me. there’s a couple videos of him laughing at other venues and they’re more so him laughing by breathing in air, his crying is more sucking in air.
Edit. Just listened again and I heard his sharp cry inhale before the breath inhale, so like, I kinda think he was/about to cry but then let out a laugh
After listening to atlantic I think I've finally cracked "Sleep Token" So many of their songs use outlandish metaphors to get their point across but one strikes me differently. "Anything to get me to sleep." They are worshiping their god "sleep" but what if "sleep" is a double entendre for death. Because I think atlantic is a song about a failed suicide attempt and wanting to go to sleep. Wanting to see their god sleep and yet also wanting to go to "sleep" (die).
A lot of their songs seem to be reasons why they want to sleep. Sleep token is reasons for wanting to die. A little far fetched, but we all have our own take on music.
They’re also very horny
I think Fall For Me is another metaphor for suicide. It's about the narrator asking someone to help them, stop them from commiting. When whales die they sink down to the bottom of the ocean. The narrator is asking someone to "Fall" down to him and pick him up, with whales fitting in with the ocean theme of TPWBYT. The thing with sleep token is that V's lyrics are so complex and he uses so many metaphors that if you look too deep into the song, that you might lose the meaning entirely. It doesn't help that V doesn't do interviews so for now it's up to us to figure out

I was there, it was insane. I lost and crushed my glasses, lost the drumsticks I got after Jack & Owane, it was worth it - would do it all again!

God to see Vore & Nazareth 😭😭 I saw them at Sonic Temple and it was cut short because people got hurt, but they haven't been playing those two in the states I don't think. Vore is so underrated.
and Aqua Regia😢 I just want to see every song they have live. Allll of them. From Thread the Needle to Euclid. Is that too much to ask? 🫶
@katrinathornburg91 lol, I'd be interested in watching a full live discography play through too, but I'd want a seat! They played Vore at both concerts I went to, but the second concert (leeds festival) was shorter so no Nazareth or Aqua Regia. Looking forward to seeing them again later in the year. Hopefully you'll get to see a longer full set soon too.
Little sad, that the great songs "Take me back to eden" & "Are you really ok" are not on the setlist. I will see them in Germany in December.
My bet is they'll add them once their headline tour starts, but for now it's just festival shows so they'll be doing the hits

MANY have tried in the past and MANY failed but not these dudes.....they've created their own sound, their own story, their own performance, their own art and draw in so many different fans from so many different genres who otherwise would've never been under the same roof at the same time and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM all get along and all rock the f*ck out together as one!
What SLEEP TOKEN is doing for music, art and their fans, I'm SUPER confident saying that I speak for everyone when I say they are nothing less than phenomenal.......

After using IPhones for years I recently switched to the Samsung S23 Ultra specifically for the camera and the zoom feature. I miss iOS but the camera definitely makes up for it. Glad you liked video, I’ll be watching it loads myself! They are amazing live, even better than they come across on the videos.
