I love the sounds of windchimes they bring me a sense of peace, especially when I’m outside on a beautiful 70° day, blue sky and breezy weather. Also since I’m spiritual can also be a sign from my spiritual guides as well.
Another question then, I just thought of this, having seen this thing quite some years backwhen I went to a music open day. They had quite an expansive percussion section with random things like the drum from inside a washing machine suspended like a windchime so it resonates when you hit it or roll things around inside it and this bamboo waterfall which was like hundreds of pipes ranging from just over 2 feet long to literally, half an inch or so in length, also suspended from a frame. I don't want to give up the search for it, but I am also thinking, it was possibly, just one of these one of a kind ingenious percussion made up random things like the washing machine drum there, so I'll probably never see something like it again in my lifetime, but I would love to own one myself.

I have my windchimes in my windows. Only one of them is actually a Woodstock chime and that is the Gregorian Alto chime which I've been quite taken with the combination of 8 notes there, like a dominant minor scale, it has a lot of musical suspense when the 8 notes sound, especially if only 4 or 5 of the chimes sound which would create either, a minor chord or fble major 7th chord or an e flat on 3 or a d minor on 4 or f natural on 4... and so on and so forth. I've always enjoyed windchimes for this reason. Sadly, I also have wooden chime which my mum thought is a Woodstock chime, but I don't think it is. One of the tubes got scuffed and chipped at the bottom end. Would smoothing it over with a very smooth sandpaper make much difference to the sound? It is in the key of d flat or c sharp, discounting one of the tubes which is an e natural.

Love my windchimes but disappointed that the lifetime repair went away. They are so expensive with really no extended warranty.
