The boat scene from the trailer makes me feel like it’ll play a little more into CoD 4, with a nuke on a boat and such
The shipment with the material inside gives Crew Expandable vibes but this time instead coming from Russia, I'm sure it will come from Sheperd as Laswell says in the trailer "either from Russia or from us".
You can also see Soap checking hands with Griggs before jumping out of the chopper with Ghost. Gives Ultimatum mission vibes from COD4.
And finally that Oil Rig Platform attack with the Mexican Special Forces gives OG MW2 vibes

Lots of set pieces that give a nod to the original MW and MW2 which leave me with a great feeling. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.
Its really interesting looking back and seeing the differences in what is essentially the same thing. The Original and the 2022 trailers seem to highlight and style both of them in a very different way. Its interesting to note how a lot the original trailer focuses on the home front side of the story. The 2022 version doesn't seem to even include the home front and focuses on the foreign ops side of the story. Very interesting, especially when you think about where we were as a country when it originally came out compared to now.

the shades dont fit over his mask. im not sure why they redesigned him but it starts to grow on me after all these weeks. im much more concerned for soap cause his face...he seems like the only character that wasnt properly animated

Here’s my prediction for how MW2022 will be: Plays exactly like MW2019, maps will be at least 50% recycled (remastered) maps from previous games, heavy SBMM, lobbies will disband after every match, store will have a bunch of bundles to buy. Can’t wait, let the hype train begin.
If you only play CoD for the multiplayer then you aren’t a true fan anyways.
Let’s hope it’s not a 150gb download to play a 3 hour campaign.
