So far I agree. Cod 4: Modern Warfare was a true masterpiece and while Black Ops 1 and 2 are a bunch of fantastic games, Infinity War is capable of bringing the truest cod experience out there.
Slow paced, tactical, environmental, seemingly a classic and compelling COD campaign. Plays off the strengths of the best MW2019 levels but on a bigger scale. Absolutely can’t wait!
It’s not really that slow paced, that’s just the way every person who’s demonstrating a pre-game (not released) plays. If you ever notice they walk around extra slow and play kinda like a 13 year old enjoying the story. 😂
Some people are criticizing the mission precisely for being slow, and in MW2019 Clean house, it was one of the best missions in the game, and the original MW2 also had slow missions but with a lot of action
Looks phenomenal Infinity Ward. I didn’t think you guys could top the original MW1 and 2, but you did with MW2019 and now this looks like a step up even from that. Genuinely excited to play this.

@@af4396 I mean the gameplay is afterall a significant factor when considering a game. the older games had better stories in general since thats pretty much all they had to offer. and this is the era of realistic graphics and i am just grateful 2019 had to offer way more than just that

Feels like Oil rig mission from MW2 and CoD4's Crew Expendable mission fuse into 1 (1st area). 2nd area reminds me of CoD Ghosts' mission where the jets (i.e. shipment containers) are sliding away from the ship's deck. Very cool and refreshing indeed!
It's definitely inspired by the missions "Crew Expendable" and "The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday". I'm also getting the vibes of "Clean House" because of its slow paced gameplay. This is the Call of Duty I adored and love!
As much as I'd prefer to see another mission showcase like clean house, this is indeed a very call of duty style mission. The transition from a cutscene to gameplay is flawless. MW2019 campaign was definitely one of the most well done campaign and I sure hope this one will top that

I would like to hear about Lobby's staying together after matches in MP and I hope other players do too. The game loses its sense of community when you are with different people, you don't have time to develop rivalries that last multiple matches, play enough games with the same people to make mates to play with, when the lobbies disband straight after a game. Any game developer will tell you the social aspect is really important for game, I hope they do this, it would be much better for longevity and community of the game. Thats the sort of thing I enjoyed playing on MW2 back in the day. Multiple games with the same people, learning their playstyle and trying to counter them, adds much more depth, replayability and community to the game, that I feel is lacking, which turns it into a toxic fest where you have 10 seconds to do some banter and thats it at the end of the match, hardly enough time to actually interact in any meaningful way, hope you all want this too.
I agree that disbanding a lobby and starting new again has its perks, but I think you make a great point James. Getting to chat with the same folks and play against/alongside them (I think the score balancing feature is dope and has been around since COD 4 but that’s also when I started the COD series) is one the critical keys to a multiplayer game’s success, especially in COD. Thanks for sharing :)!

Yes, there was a boat mission in MW and an oil rig mission in MW2, but these are not the same boat and oil rig from back in the day. It was the rangers that raided the oil rig in MW2 and it was the SAS, not Task 141, that went on that ship.
Dude, I love how it feels like MW2019 but feels entirely different at the same time. The Fennec sounds and animations are the same but feel so new at the same time
The fact IW is listening to the community is amazing. They released MW2019 and knew it was a hit, they didn’t try and go crazy and change a lot of things. They kept the same style of gameplay and it looks very similar to MW2019 but just better in almost every way. It’s perfect.
I love the way they reimagined these old levels from the OG MW games and mushed them together in a completely new context. This is absolutely brilliant!
I wish COD games started hiring better writers who don't create propaganda filled shooting galleries every year instead of using these aesthetically pleasing well crafted action games to tell an empathetic story.
@@LiamDCoughlan Insurgency is pretty dope when modded or playing on custom servers, but vanilla public feels not so much better than the CoD itself. So many positives. Firstly, the weapon animations and reloads are great, Hyper and the IW animation team you did it again. Secondly, the sound effects are amazing, it was a positive in the first MW, and it's even better here. Thirdly, the graphics are amazing, especially the moving waters and player/npc designs. Fourthly, the transition from cutscene to gameplay is just as flawless as the first one. And lastly, when soap was climbing up the containers on the moving ship, I was glad that it seems the invisible barriers are removed once again, and this can make for some dynamic and replayable campaign levels, maybe even multiplayer maps/levels.
I was skeptical of how MW II would be able to make the game feel fresh at release like how MW 2019 felt. The gameplay looks like a pre rendered cutscene… absolutely insane

@Camping Comrade it's infinity ward They got many people's trust with their hard work If you said this about Treyarch and Sledgehammer then people would listen more
The first part was extremely similar to "Only easy day" mission, while the second part is quite literally what "crew expandable" would look if it was remade, with cargos moving around and having to avoid getting crushed, better water simulations and alot more intense. Just *chef kiss*
I love how this mission almost looks like a combination of “Crew Expendable” and “The Only Easy Day…Was Yesterday.” Which were missions from the previous Modern Warfare games.
I love that MW 2019 and MW2 2022 are the only CODs (that I’ve played) in which your character climbs stairs like you would in real life. It’s the little details that make the big picture.

@@Hiraeth-0X just like the ogs MW and MW2
Hey COD devs, it was the DETAILS in 2019 that a lot of people fell in love with. It's what made mw19 feel new and cared for. Lets hope you've done the same for mw22
They using the same VLK 3.0 scope from MW1. Lower your expectations. Dont expect new attachments, mechanics, guns, etc.
Its MW1 with different missions and a whole reboot of Warzone primarily. That being said, I just pre-ordered and will play for eternity.
@@IScreenshotNFTs can you just respect that fact that we're getting more modern warfare content?
@@IScreenshotNFTs It’s obvious some weapons and attachments are gonna be the same. Not exactly a bad thing imo
It looks decent, but I will not pre-order any cod ever. There’s no telling what can go wrong. Though this will probably be a smash hit just like mw2019.
@@IScreenshotNFTs Better graphics, some weapon adjusting, and gunplay adjusting, and just more fine tuning. Unfortunately they’ll probably not innovate the whole game. But then again activision copy pasted mw2019 2 times already sooo
Man the whole line "Let's Have Ourselves A Gunfight" Just Hit's
Love the water effects, the portal blowing out and washing over the soldier, the splashing onto the deck, the dripping from the walkways, and washing down the walls. For some reason I really enjoy these semi-cinematic COD gameplay videos even though I rarely play FPS games.
It's not a portal, it's a porthole.
@Camping Comrade are you blind?
@Camping Comrade can you elaborate that in some aspect?
@Camping Comrade you must be related to stevie wonder
Thanks everyone for their hard work. The game looks great like every other MW game. We hope the whole story leaves a deep feeling in our hearts like the first MW2. By the way, I'm so glad to see the edge mount feature that isn't gone. Despite being stable, some recoil gain was a well-balanced and beautiful event. We hope that you can earn as much as possible from this project and offer us more beautiful games.
you are talking to a brick wall
Definitely has that OG MW2 vibe but more work to be done October 🔥
Calm down boah the game hasn't even come out yet
The D riding is off the charts!
"Oh please Call of Duty Daddy give me attention please daddy"
Relax buddy we don’t know just yet how it’s actually going to look lol
5:20 the fact that the containers are sliding as the ship is hit by the waves is awesome, its like a subtle way of making an ever shifting battleground, would love to see more like this
Edit: everything moves actually, even your movement is affected by the inclination, oh and thanks for the likes :)
not that new of a feature tbh
Woopdidoo, scripted crates that move
Can’t judge what you think but don’t just willingly have blind excitement and hype for it
@@Noid i remember Uncharted 1 or 3 having it already
@@0raf 2.actually
@@0raf wow, what a GROUNDBREAKING feature for gaming. Definitely have never seen it before.
NPCs looks so real movements and talking are so realistic, never seen in any other game.
That was awesome. I loved it. Watching that trailer made me feel as if I were playing a character in a movie and playing through an incredible campaign at the same time. I can't wait to play through the campaign again. It's the real reason I fell in love with Call of Duty. Especially Modern Warfare. It was playing through the campaign that made me a true fan for life.
I’m just hoping the game doesn’t freeze up years later like MW2019
I'm excited to see how they're moving forward with the Shadow Company - Task Force 141 story. I like that they are introduced early in the game as allies. I would guess that Shadow Company, which is headed by General Shepherd, will eventually turn against Task Force 141. This follows closely with the plotline of the original MW2. I'm pumped to experience how they're going to implement that!
Please let Ghost survive this time😭
@@Anon-21j Guarantee its that commander character on the boat that'll get killed by Shepard betrayal this time.
Agreed
@@LouSassol69er oh I really hope you're right! Fingers crossed!
@@LouSassol69er this one is a sequel and a sidequel in one. Basically it's going to be COD4 story with nostalgia baiting from MW2, so i dont think shepard will actually do something in this one.
The physics of shooting looks cool 👍
its the same like in mw19 xdd
@@michadziaslana2661 The problem being?
@@michadziaslana2661hahahahahaha of course it's the same engine 🤣🤣🤣
@@michadziaslana2661 it was great in MW19
@@nolanjoseph1553 the op comment makes no sense, that's the problem
6v6 fun multiplayer small colourful maps with streaks that go hard, that's what we have asked for for a decade
The current Modern Warfare series is truly a work of art, and truly Call of Duty's most promising games moving forward. The campaign of the 2019 release, and the amount of realism and care that went into the end product really catapulted it to be my favorite in recent years, and the only one I find myself coming back to semi regularly. Looks great so far, can't wait to see the full product, as I'm certainly taking off the day of release for this one.
this guys a nerd
Yea modern warfare 2019 was one of the best in the 2010s
Too bad the multiplayer is a disaster!
Missing work for a videogame ? Clown
Shitfare 2019 is the worst cod to ever release and shitfare 2022 is not looking so promising
I genuinely hope that the game actually looks like this and we aren't just being shown a beautified version just to hype us up
It's probably gonna depend on your Tv and console newest console graphics I'd say 4k TV
@@Apparition_Unknown it most likely will look like that on the next gen consoles and pc, aka ps4 will be probably levelled down but still decent.
They didn't do that with MW2019, why would you accuse them of doing that this time around? Makes no sense...
@@LilliumIntermSpinas ikr, it feels like some of these comments are ai generated or something
call of duty has never not delivered on it’s graphics
@@romeocodm when are they gonna quit releasing games on Old gen?
Seeing the containers move around during the storm makes me want to see a similar concept applied to multiplayer; the longer the match goes on the more unstable the environment becomes. It could affect sight lines and layout.
thats actually an awesome idea
"It doesn't feel like COD Anymore 😭😭😭 Trying to be battlefield 😭😭😭"
@@dybixs1400 i guess it doesnt matter since battlefield doesnt feel like battlefield anymore lol
Pretty sure they did this with cod ghosts
Same, i think if MWll has dynamic maps, then this is definitely one of the maps in the MP. And it also changes the flow like how ghost and AW had.
Interesting to see the differences from the official game. Campaign was amazing
