Idk maybe on the flip side this could help hip hop. A lot of rappers become role models peddling stories to the youth that they never lived themselves, making them rich from theses kids support. Steering them into a lifestyle glamorized by them with consequences they were never ready to face. If everybody’s keeping it a 100 and these kids see the consequences maybe they’ll ease up trying to pursue that lifestyle or at least stop telling on themselves to sell records. In turn maybe the music will stop being so negative or at least a balance will be restored. Just think these dudes got companies with lawyers backing there artist the average kid who follows doesn’t.
Facts..... The only thing I would disagree with is the industry making a move to make hip hop more positive. Trust me those sold-out arenas are sold out because Suburban kids, who probably never been to the hood in their life, like to hear the action-packed lyrics...where as the kids in the hood try to imitate it...or are already living it..... or task daily to try and avoid it......
@@deedaye Agree in no way do i think the industry itself will try to make hip hop more positive. But if it gets to a point where artist are being tied up with legal stuff, it may come a time where labels can be held as accessories to the crimes of after the fact because th advance money is what the guys are really using to buy guns drug etc.. which in turn may cause them to back off pushing these narritives or funding the artist who do. and that will lead to that one specific side of rap to no longer flood the airwaves and give the other side and chance to breath life into the communities. hopefully helping form some sort of balance that the kids can pull from
@@ovadoseod ....true..... it's evident rappers are held more liable for the actions of their fans due to their lyrics, than politicians are....
