The mooncell is never stated to be similar to the root, I've only seen that in type moon wiki without citations. If it did, it only references it in a sense that both record things, but akasha does it on a greater scale. It is the source of everything and all of creation, it's repeatedly stated so.

I have a crackpot theory that stuff like Dead Apostles and giant machine god aliens are based on the Book of Enoch, or like Aife is just an Alter Ego of Scathach. I don't see a connection with the book of First Enoch. As far as I am concerned First Enoch really explains most about the origins of demons which are the nephilim, the Watcher fallen angels, and the designs of the earth and helps establish what the world was like before the Flood.
