Wow.... What a great video.... I really enjoyed this great video❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much!!
I would like to correct you on something. The hands you see on the wall in beginning have nothing to do with Sati. It is a practice called Jauhar which women of the family of King performed in order to avoid capture and enslavement by the invading army because even the corpse of women was not safe so they chose to burn themselves. This is very disrespectful to our ancestors 🙏🏼
Ahh thank you for the correction! Sometimes we misunderstand or get incorrect information! So we greatly appreciate you taking the time to teach us the proper history. ❤️
No problem🙏🏼😊
You guys made me feel nostalgic. I was born and raised in Jodhpur before moving out to the US for my masters. I'll have to visit now.
Oh that's so cool! When did you leave Jodhpur? Does it look like it changed much?
@@IfWeGoTo I left Jodhpur in 2015 and haven't been there since. Other than infrastructure and other amenities, I hope the city doesn't change much.
The old and welcoming vibe of the city, with it's local cuisine is what ties it to my heart.
Hope you have a great time in India !
Welcome
Also, if you guys haven't left already, i think you'd love visiting Ummaid Bhawan Palace. It's I guess the second largest residential palace in the world after Windsor and is a world famous wedding destination, having witnessed many high profile international weddings.
It seems like it has been changing for the better and maintaining its charm!
Thank you very much!
Unfortunately we did leave, but we will have to check it out next time! Thank you! :D
@@Seriouslyfunny1 same buddy! Btw where r u living is the US?
One of the serene videos by foreigners of Indian cities. Quiet and nice.
Thank you, so happy you enjoyed it and appreciated the style! 🤗
@@IfWeGoTo Oh Yes. Enjoyed it thoroughly. The best part was the calm demeanour shown by both of you. No unnecessary shouting and adrenaline rush. Best 👍😀
It means a lot to hear back from people, such as yourself, who appreciate a calmer approach on RUclips.
I agree that many videos on YT have VERY high energy... because of that, many people assume we aren't excited or bored. Which is definitely not the case, but we're just calmer people! So thank you again for taking the time to reaffirm us! :D
Both of your smiles made me like and subscribe.
Aww thank you!
It's very nice vlog 👍 and kept up.❤❤ thanks for visiting in jodhpur (india). All the best for your future journeys.
Thank you very much for your warm welcome to your country!!
@@IfWeGoTo it's my pleasure.❤️
That old guy deserves highest civilian award of India.
Absolutely!!
Jodhpur is my favorite too, it has a touch of tranquility to it, thanks for capturing it to a great extent, lovely vlog ♥️
Glad you liked it, thank you!

Aww thank you!!
Lovely to see you both👍, bring your kids along. Also do make a series of vlogs from new Delhi here. Old Delhi too is very famous for its Mughal era forts and markets like Chandni chowk etc
Thank you!! We don't have any children, but I'm sure it would have been fun!
We have a few videos from Delhi up already too! :D
I'm so happy you didn't lose this footage. It looks absolutely awesome! Would you say it's your favourite city in India from what you visited?
Oh gosh, yeah we’re happy this one didn’t get the same audio loss despite using the same cord!
I think Jaipur was probably our favorite out of the spots we visited!!! But Jodhpur was a nice spot too!
And your vlog is awesome tooo
Aww thank you so much!

Must visit kumbhalgarh, sajjangarh, udaipur , Mount Abu in these monsoon days 😍😍
Sounds like it would be lovely to visit! 😍
Wow! Really nice video, great editing and a super image quality! Would you mind in sharing with me what equipment were you using to record on the streets? I am not a RUclipsr of travels but I am going to India again in September and would love getting good images like yours!! hehe Thanks in advance
Hello! Thank you so much!! :D
This video was made entirely on a Canon EOS R camera & Canon RF 24-105 f/4 lens, along with the Rode Wireless Go II microphones! It's a bit heavy but a solid setup! :)
We also use a Sony ZV1 for some videos! If you're looking for something lighter, cheaper, or just starting we'd totally recommend it! It still gets good images, but is a bit more convenient and good to learn camera settings on!
Happy travels!! :D
@@IfWeGoTo Thank you very much for your kindness in answering in detail! I have a Nikon D610 D-SLR and some good NIKKOR objective lenses too... but I struggle a lot with stabilization! I thought you were using some very professional gimbal! Hehe I tried recording videos with an Osmo Action too, but in fact I never liked the image quality of it, not artistic at all! Anyways, thanks for the tips, that was very kind!!
Anytime!! And ugh stabilization is a pain! We only are handheld, the new lenses that are out have impressive stabilization capabilities. We have an older camera body now too, lots of the new ones have even better!
Totally understand! Action cameras are so handy in a lot of situations but really fall flat when you want to add any artistic flair.
Hi 👋 Wow, loved the video. India is on another level! ✌️
Thank you!! So happy to hear you enjoyed it!!
And definitely another level!!!
U guys should be more regular in uploading videos. It's so beautiful the way u put it,
Thank you so much!! We try to get one or two up a week but they take a while to make sometimes! 😃
@@IfWeGoTo you're welcome. And Sir, you look quite similar to American actor Ansel Elgort.
Hahaha he gets that sometimes 😆
Guys your vlogs are amazing. Keep it up 🤘
Come to Odisha, India.
Ahh thank you so much!! Your compliment means a lot to us!
We would love to visit one day! :D
@@IfWeGoTo I wish you to visit this eastern part of India too. Have a happy journey. All the best.
Welcome to India guys ❤hope you guys have amazing experiences in our state Rajasthan 😍..love from 🇮🇳❣️
Thank you so much! We had a great time exploring Jodhpur and Jaipur, hope to see more one day!
@@IfWeGoTo god bless u both 😇❤️
Thank you! :)
Hey guys. Loved your video. You met - Caron Rawnsley He is very famous. Lived there for decades and been honoured by the council for his work too lol You can check out his videos. He is so humble not to tell you that. He used to hand pick the garbage from that fort and clean the water with nets. Pretty pathetic conditions from when he first started. Great guy♥
Thank you so much, so happy to hear you enjoyed it!
we had no idea! We thought he was doing commendable work, so that’s awesome that he has been recognized for it!
We’ll definitely check out his videos. Thank you!! 😃
LOVED THIS VIDEO, PLEASE TRY GOING TO NORTHERN INDIA LIKE IN THE MOUNTAINS , PLACES LIKE *NAINITAL , KASOL , SHIMLA(QUEEN OF HILLS) , KASHMIR(HEAVEN ON EARTH), LEH LADAKH , AND THE OTHER BEAUTIFUL VALLEYS NEARBY , IF U GUYS DONT LIKE MOUNTAINS , THEY U SHOULD SURELY VISIT , SOUTH INDIA, AND NORTH EAST , BOTH THESE PARTS ARE JUST LIKE TRVALLING TO OTHER COUNTRIES , THE CULTURE , THE LANGUAGE , THE FOOD , EVERYTHING CHANGES . I HAVE SEEN MANY FOREIGNERS JUST LIKE YOU , EXPLORING ONLY FEW NAMED CITIES : JAIPUR , JODHPUR , DELHI , AMRITSAR , MUMBAI , AND AGRA," , AND THEY ALL GET A PERESPECTIVE THAT INDIA IS JUST ABOUT THESE CITIES, IT ISNNT LIKE THAT, ALL THESE CITIES ARE JUST A MAJOR TOURIST SPOTS , AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE PEACE. GO TO THE MOUNTAINS AND YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF SURROUNDED BY DIVINE SERENITY , AND PEACE. IT IS INEED OFFSEASON , SO PRICES WOULD BE FAR MORE CHEAPER FOR ACCOMODATION. IF YOU WANNA GO TO SOME OF THE BEST BEACHES ON EARTH , GO TO GOA , ANDAMAN NICOBAR ISLANDS. ( YOU CAN SEARCH MORE ABOUT THESE PLACES ON RUclips ), I HOPE YOUR CHANNEL GROWS TO 100k SOON
Thank you so much, and we really appreciate your recommendations!!!!
You can try cities as Mumbai Goa Agra for explore different places and try different good food.
Thank you for your recommendations!

I usually don't watch this kind of things but your vlog is great. Could you tell me in which month you visited? I'm heading there in about a few days, hope to catch similar weather. Oh, and which state is the lovely lady from? I love her accent and gentle way of speaking.
Aww thank you! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it! :) We visited in February, so it should be similar. Hopefully it won’t be too hot on your visit!
Also I am from California originally, but we’ve lived in Hawaii and abroad for nearly 8 years now!
@@IfWeGoTo Thank you for your kind reply, my trip was spectacular, tbh, I'm sort of still processing it! What a wonderful world indeed.
Of course, California, the loveliest accent on the planet!

Welcome to Blue City-Jodhpur. It's really Wonderful Vlog about Jodhpur City. Here are some recommended places to explore in Jodhpur which missed out from yours excellent vlog- Ziplining Adventure Experience at Mehrangarh Fort, Mandore Heritage Garden, Ummaid Bhawan Palace, Kheechan Natural Bird Sanctuary, Desert National Park, Gajanero, Machiya Safari Park, Dhwa Doli Wildlife Sanctuary, Kaylana Lake, Sardar Samand Lake, Padmasar Lake, Ranisar Lake, Bal Samand Lake Palace and Osian Desert Temple. Take Care. 😊
Thank you! And thank you for your recommendations!
but aren`t those hand prints at entrance of newly wed queens put their mark at entrance of fort
Oh we had read it was a memorial. I’m not sure
I don't know if you are in India or filmed this long ago but one thing that can make your experience in India unforgettable is Trying luxury (hotel) in Udaipur , the Venice of the east. India's luxury side is very underrated and not much explored in Internet except some Hindi vloggers but essentially it's the best experience in India you can have in the city of Lakes Udaipur.
This was filmed a few weeks ago! We'd definitely love to try the luxury hotel experience one day, unfortunately it is a bit out of our budget as long term travelers at the moment, but maybe one day we will get the opportunity! :)
Why Venice of the east , Why Can't Venice is Udaipur of West ?
I think a lot of people in the west have not heard of Udaipur… Venice is well known because it was a major financial and maritime power during the renaissance, but also very beautiful nowadays.
I don’t think they meant their comment as like a bad thing, I think it was more of a compliment about Udaipur’s beauty and water features.
@@prafullacpandey It's just to give a understanding to the people of West. We Indians don't call it Venice of East but 'city of Lakes' mostly.
@@prafullacpandey because people use example of popular places to compare to lesser known places. No need to get triggered.
Once U Visit To North-east Region this will be u r favorite city in india
Thank you for the recommendation!
Hello, you have a great you tube channel, for the next country to visit Pakistan, like the cities of Lahore, Islamabad, karachi, Peshawar, or the Hunza valley….
With great hospitality, beautiful places to visit, multicultural and very good food. Thank you
Thank you very much!!!
We would love to visit Pakistan one day!!
You should visit Ganesh temple too in Jodhpur
Next time we will need to! Thank you!
Hanuman chalisa in the background at the end 💕
It was beautiful!!!
I am from Jodhpur 🙂 welcome to Blue City or Sun City
Thank you so much!! Your city is beautiful! :)
@@IfWeGoTo hope you will enjoy our culture and food 🙂
We definitely did!! Thank you! :)
If you have time please visit north east (7 sister) ladak, kasmir, odisha, Andaman Nicobar, lakhyadeep, pondicherry these place are unexplored part of india and hidden gems of india ...
We definitely need to see a lot more of India! Thank you for the recommendations!
@@IfWeGoTo you always welcome brother..
There are 7 Sisters and 1 Brother in North East region of India. That's means 8 States in NE region of India. But Foreign nationals are allowed to explore very few places in our NE region of India until they don't carry Inner Line Permit Certificate from Government of India and clearance from respective States Goverment of NE States. Only Bangaram Island in Union Territory of Lakshadweep Islands of India is given permit to foreigners but that too they have to registered their name at Kochi Office in Kerala State.
It must have been -really- Pretty Cool
It was great!!
In Australia 🇦🇺 when people go riding their horses, they don't wear Jeans like Cowboys do in America, they wear Jodhpurs. I don't know if they were an English (Raj) design or an Indian design.
So sorry I missed your reply, but I just saw it! I did not know about Jodhpurs in Australia! I wonder.. it does look like something that could have come from that region, doesn't it?
@@IfWeGoTo I've since read more on this topic, and there's a comprehensive article in Wikipedia, which give the history of the design. It was indeed designed in India by the ruler of Jodhpur 😁
Ahh cool to learn!! Thank you for sharing! :)@@BrassLock
👏👏👏
Thank you!! How have you been?? Looks like you have made it to some cool shows!!
@@IfWeGoTo yes it’s festival season :) next stop…Taiwan🕺 I hope y’all are doing well 🙏
Haha that makes sense!! When do you head to Taiwan?!
Been doing well here! Just keeping busy 😆
@@IfWeGoTo April…did all get resolved with ur air bnb? 😅
No way!! We’ll be here till mid-April, keep in touch when you get here, we should hang if we cross paths!
Hahaha yes, no further disturbances!!
I am from jodhpur bro welcome
Thank you so much! 🙏
Indian traditional nice place
Yes it was very nice !
You should know that the one shot of the dark knight rises was shooted here in which Bruce Wayne was escaping the under deep prison .
That’s super cool!!! When we were there we kept saying how it looked like a movie set!!
Great to see Americans step outside America and see the world. This from an Indian who lives in America!
It is definitely an amazing opportunity to see what else is out there and expand our horizons! We hope you are loving living in America! :D What part do you live in?
Such a stupid comment. Americans are all over the world. Get out from your bubble. You can't rule the world if you are sitting home.
Welcome to kolkata
We want to visit one day!! 😃
Anne guest house,
Is best location to live with family?
Hi!! I think there are many great locations! The family at Anne Guest House was very nice, but it is a *very* budget type of accommodation at just about $8/night, so I would adjust expectations accordingly! :)
Welcome to my city jodhpur I love jodhpur
Thank you so much for the warm welcome to your city, it was awesome to visit!
Udaipur is better. Visit udaipur in rajasthan. James bond film octopussy was shot there. Dark knight rises was shot at jodhpur fort . Visit andaman nicobar islands and lakshadweep for white sand blue water beaches
Ohh very awesome!! It does seem very fitting for a movie set!! We would love to see Udaipur one day as well!
It's not easy for foreign nationals to visit our Lakshadweep Islands Territory in compare to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Only Bangaram Island in Lakshadweep Island is open for foreigners that too they have to get booking in advance and special permission from Ministry of Tourism, Government of India office at Kochi in Kerala State, although Cruise Ships are available from Kozhikode and Kochi Cities in Kerala State to Bangaram Island but not in regular frequency and very less flight operate to Capital Kavaratti.
Oh thank you for the heads up on that! Sounds like we will need to plan way ahead to visit!

@@IfWeGoTono problem brother 👍☺️
Did you feel any change in your perceptions about india?
Like from visiting Jodhpur vs other cities?
Or from visiting India for the first time?
I mean about the difference in perception the westerners have about india
Hm, I think it would depend on the Westerner... for us I think it was a better than we had expected :), but we also have Indian friends & a bit of travel experience so we had some idea of what to expect beforehand.
Sounds like you're upset, you ok?

Before coming to India Everyone should watch the videos of 'Karl Rock' , a very popular channel , you can say he is the India specialist and encyclopedia for foreigners coming in India. He talked about everything from religious scams to Delhi Belly problem , from traffic rules to Hidden gems of India and every type of scam you can think of. So I request everyone to check his scam and travel videos out.
