WG offered this 56TP in a marathon event. It was easy, if you had time. At the end you got your tank and you had the chance to "invest" a certain quantity of free XP to get the Bisonte skin plus a hundred of daily missions to achieve in the 56TP to get different prizes, equipment, free XP, credits, directives, premium days... That's why during more than 3 months 56TP was very common. But nowadays it's almost totally absent.
This tank was one of my go to tanks for Frontline. Running bounty vents, bounty turbo, and bounty rammer with premium consumables. Gets into a good hull down position fairly quick and was a menace. .30 dispersion, 1.9 aim time, 10.72 reload. DPM was only 2,183 plus the majority of the shots hit and pen. I don't "love" it but it is a decent tank as long as you got it for free, like a lot of people did including me.
@@GhostVvarThey should just make the roof penetrable by 120+ mm guns, that's really all. At the moment 130mm + guns can overmatch it, not sure about the 128mm.
I got mine a while ago from a mission marathon. while the hull is paper, the turret can bounce shots half the time. also it has very decent mobility and gun depression. if people can think the leopard is legendary then this tank is at least good, fun tank to play. i just wouldnt pay money for it.
Dunno, i like the tank. Sure armor isn´t great but the gun handling is amazing and in 2024 this already means a lot. The cheese hull armor also makes you care even less when you get spammed with 300+ pen prem ammo. Only real downer is the rather maeh dpm.
I just feel the great gunhandling, pen and accuracy make up for the dpm. The turret is not as bad as people claim it to be. The hull isnt easy to pen either if you use your depression.
@@BADMIXofficial It is when you have 440dmg..but Defender is wayy worst for example. And as HT you are like disadvantage for team i rather choose E-75TS ist just better in all ways if you want mobile HT.

I would partially disagree about armor... in a hull down it's a beast, even against tier 9's... Can't side scrape, it is a bit slow, but have a good gun... all in all solid tank. I grind all my money with Liberte and 56tp
you can bounce/block the lower pen rounds but all they have to do is shoot closer to the middle of the turret which is easily penned with even normal rounds not including the fact with the amount of people shooting gold in the game they go straight through your mantlet/turret. however i do agree with you, it is amazing at making creds if you just sit and farm dmg because the tank is accurate, with decent shell velocity, and the standard ammo is cheap

The best feature of this tank is accuracy, but still you have to aim for 100%, otherwise your shells dig the ground. The armour is to the weaker side, but in most cases it's acceptable. If you dont mind bad dpm it can be quite good second line heavy tank. If you like 122TM go for 56TP.
I got it for free and I have to say the tanks pretty decent. Being able to actually hit the things I'm aiming at is honestly more enjoyable than playing a defender. Plus I don't rely on the armor as much and play more intelligently than I would with other heavies.

Ive been penned on the tip of the barrel in the 56tp. Didnt even break the gun. Love this tank though. The gun is super good. Its fast so im usually in the frontline dieing but its still a fun tank.

This tank has been parked in my garage gathering dust. Not worth playing. It costs more to play than it earns. Armour is great for a tier 6, but terrible for tier 8.
This tank is good. Not that I'd recommend buying it, as 95% of prem tanks are not worth it. Just look at the global stats - it outperforms many seemingly better tanks. And I confirm that.

Crazy how little RNG can shift the whole game. if that IS-3 didnt lowroll in the 2nd game, it would be probably lost.
