I would definetly be well into more comparison videos for when it comes to comparable tanks, maybe give a bit of your own advice and builds to play into the strengths of the tanks

when turtle got buffed i tried both to compare, i loved both of them before so i think i didnt go for preferences. after a couple of days my conclusion was pretty much turtle is a lor better.
yeah ts-5 armor is a lot more reliable if you hide that gigantic lower plate but thats where the adventages end, even when turtle armor can barely stand against tier 9+ its layout is easy to use with the gun traverse and depresion angles and there is the main adventage: the gun, even when turtle has less pen and less alpha the dpm makes it more annoying to fight against and traverse+depression make the tank very flexible unlike the ts-5 which is a brick on certain situations.
in a positive note to mr ts 300 heat pen is very juicy
I can deal with Turtle easier than TS5 just because of armour layout.
Haven't played since the turtle buff, but just seeing it "zooming" around the field the way that one did is .. woah, nice.

I wish Wargaming would do frequent small buffs instead of hyper-buffing one tank while completely ignoring so many others that need it. Does the AMX CDC just exist to get blasted by Chinese rocket tanks for 800 damage?
Thumbnail is sick not gonna lie. Reminds me old beyblade anime way back then.
Maybe it's just something I've been telling myself, but the tracks of the TS-5 gets focused so much because it's sticking out in the front. Also since it's so much flatter, there are quite a lot of places where you can't shoot over the hull down positions.
Yesterday in Twitch Chat I asked when TS-5 vs Turtle Video comes and Skill said no idea. Sneaky sneaky Baboon :D Now let's see if it's worth to buy TS-5 or wait for Turtle to be on sale.
It doesn't matter how broken the Turtle is against lower tier tanks, it's still a meatball when someone loads the gold.
In EU server where there are many tourists wandering around, you can have a good time with the Turtle.
But unfortunately, it's totally different here in Asia server.
In 100 battles you might get 1 battle against tier 6s, 10 against tier 7s, 50 against tier 8s, and the rest against higher tiers.
It just doesn't work here.
Tourists dont exist on NA server unless they are always on one team's side and not evenly spread. It's why I wished I could play on EU without a 200+ ms ping.
tourists on EU servers is crazy, far more on NA
@@ronnie1394yeah. I have a feeling my DPG and WR would both be quite higher on EU servers with my same skill level I have on NA.
Not true at all. I have seen 1 battle against tier 6s with my turtle and i have well over 80 battles and i am on EU.

I had a lot of problems with ts5 armor tbh
All that use standard ammo have problems with it, even who shoot premium

Ts5 can bounce gold. Turtle cant. End of story.
I sold it months ago and after the buff I could luckily rebuy it :) So now I use improved equipment on this tank and take care that every fuck*n BZ 176 will enjoy himself if he meet my turtle ;)

I think i traded shovel for turtle last year. I always liked turtle and now the gun is so much better
TS5 has a huge weakpoint, underbelly, my Tiger 2 ate 2 of them when they pushed in platoon, with silver rounds
My best game at tier VIII by damage is the one played with TS-5, I did 8,2k dmg, this tank slaps ^^

The Turtle has good or bad games, rarely in-between. But it certainly isn't broken. If you try and play on its terms thats a you problem, plenty of ways to out manuver it. TS5 is bullstit to try and pen, but frustrating gun can balance it a bit. As a brit that likes our TD line the Turtle is more satisfying to play those good games in. But not OP on aggregate.
I still like the TS5 better. It’s armor works better for me. Lower plate is trollish

Played against turtle I as a td udes 03 hull down destroyed him alone with the standard pen. I think I had a harder time against ts-5 sometimes.
My TS5 fixing track time is 3. something seconds. The Tiger has no change; but; can pen the copola or TS5.
Turtle appeared in my garage I don't know how. I played it few games. A time passed and it just disapeared. I really do not know what happened in both situations. It was not a temporary stattus... like it appeared from nowhere it simply disapeared. But, I have still the crew and the stats of few matchs I played. I belive I stay more than a month. Really a mistery.
I was cheking my garage today and the Service Record of Turtle and even in servive record the vehicle now disapeared. What a fucking mistery is this!

I wanted to trade Turtle to something else but i traded 50TP (as it was 100% not my cup of tea) to a HWK 30 (that i aced it and forgot about it) and said nah it's enough maybe next time... And now i'm kinda happy i was greedy (as WG) to spend some gold for a trade in tank... But if there was 70% instead of 50% i think i would have traded it... Oh well still i need to recover it 😂 And i'm toooo lazy to grind even knowing i have a goal to buy back all tanks i have sold... 185 tanks left to buy back so maybe it will be one of the first ones i will buy back... I remember i bought it in black market for 5 millions if i'm correct and oh my i was angry when i was acing it... It was toooooooo slow and most of the time i was meeting tier IX-X with full heat and i was slowly crawling to position just to go back to garage in like 5 secs... Anyway i still think TS-5 is better... 🙄
Maybe next time you can compare Jagd88 and Turtle?

I dont think you were fairnto the turtles gun handling. You went out of your way to mention that the ts5 was a front line tank and applied a different standard to the turtle, another front line tank.

I had a Turtle 1, I traded it in 3 years ago, I have no regrets.
Sure, it's good NOW. That's preceeded by 3 years of sitting in my garage being useless while it got me a Löwe which has basically funded my account for a long time.
It wasn't useless. It still had a 51% win rate even prior to the buffs.
I bought the Turtle 3 weeks ago and most of the time I have to play against higher tiers and that is absolutely no fun...it sucks...
The turtle is one of my favs.

Bought the TS-5 for it's great armour.
Get penned in the mantlet with standard rounds from a bunch of tier 8's... Then tier 8 that can't loads gold and pens it though the mantlet...

I hate TS-5, i got penned from any tank equal tier or higher. I want to change it whenever it will be possible. Lately i got Turtle and nevet played with it. Maybe its the time to take him for a ride...

How WZ-120-1G FT stand with those two tanks?
Wz is different becouse he have less armor and more mobility
in a close quartes combat not a chance but in its role it is still a very nice td, played a couple of battles with it recently and it still sands by itself, but it is true that the aim time feels a bit bad
@@alejandrozapataq i actually think wz-120 is on par with these two tanks relatively speaking. when its a top tier you can actually go in front and play like its a ts-5/turtle but in full tier 8 or against higher tiers its more flexible than turtle and ts-5. you can snipe a bit more, use the camo and the alpha of that wz is incredible. i think the wz is better against full tier 8s and against higher tiers honestly speaking. with the other two you cant really change your playstyle if you want to be useful, for example ts-5 still needs to be a frontline but its significantly weaker against the higher tier penetration but the wz doesnt need to play either role every game. all of them are very good tanks though
I have it, its a good td but kinda different to turtle and ts5. Armor works against lower tiers and some 8s. It is more of an ambush td, camping bushes (high camo values). In brawl it will fail against these two.
I am always ready for my daily dose of Skill, but not skill - lol 😂
Enemy Turtle in the Turtle game was obvious paid actor - spotted only tank on enemy team is on hill behind you....just rock back and forth sideways in front of him till he shoots you - Yea seems legit lol Fck this game.
They do not play in there game so they buffing and nerfing randomly
Ts is only good on downtier as all tanks, especially if ppl wont shoot gold, turtle can take some golds from higher tiers
I feel like it's the opposite, it's way easier to pen a turtle with high pen rounds than ts, especially hull down
@@theBhavMan im having insanely weird non pen anytime i see turtle in 9-10t, with ts5 its no issue on 8t at all maybe its just bad rng of mine or just unlucky positions enemy can sit in
@@MaiorCJ huh interesting. I seem to be able to pen the flat parts on the casemate fairly reliably, but most of the tanks I've been playing have had 330+ heat so that might be a factor

i sold my ts-5 for credits and i have not bought a turtle, i sold the ts-5 becouse holy shit i could not preform in that tank, for me the armor did not even work, and gun was meh, i could never recomend the TS-5 i tried it for 12 games and was penned straight through the gunmantlet or cupola, in most of my games. TS-5 is the only premium i have sold
Yeah i dont like Ts-5 either . 1400 wn on it says all . Not my style of play and im afraid with turtle could be the same although i love tanks with gun depression so we gon see it after couple of hundreds battles
