I had this one on the other day and he could smell it n asked if I had bought Elysium pour homme but when I let him smell it off skin he could get that citrus n no fruity apple so for me I will buy back up of this scent. $20 instead of $400… give me… this past summer I got a lot of compliments at work n out n about…. A must buy in my eyes. I’ve had my bottle for lil over a year and was weak n now its a strong 6 hour scent with 6 sprays.
I smelled the original eysium in saks and they wanted 450 for it. I saved it and searched it later the stumbled on the video. Let me tell you my guy this is the proverbial nail with the hammer. Top notch i have the sample original and this dupe the is no difference my guy i love it
How does it compare to all the other elysium clones, from scentual obsession, new bottles, dua, Alexandria, montagne? There pricier… I love og elysium but just pricy…

On the strength of this review, I purchased Imperium and just received it from Triple Traders today for $20. I've never smelled Elysium but Sir you were Absolutely correct about this scent profile. It's a Very likeable scent. It just works. Now as to the performance, I sprayed it roughly 3 hours ago before I came to work..just one shot on the back of my hand and I Still smell it, even after wearing latex gloves off and on. I'm Very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks for the accurate opinion. You've been spot on with me ever since After Effect.

Call me crazy but when I mix Antonio Banderas Blue seduction with this, oh wow thats a unique and personal scent Im like today. Wel see if that lasts, might wake up one day and hate it. lol
Worth the 20 bucks it costs. Smells simular to Elysium after the burst of alchohol, stays for about 2 hours. Id say perfect as a gym scent , something non invasive office scent or after the shower freshy.
Imperium is great 👍 90% similar to Elysium. That small difference is in my case better for Imperium since I like it a lot more than Elysium. On me it stays for a few hours maybe 6-8 and good projection for 2-3 hours.
You got lucky. I get 30 minutes of projection and an entire performance of about 2 hours. I'm not buying clones anymore I'll just save up for the real deal. Plus it's embarrassing having knock-offs in your collection when you're into fragrances
I paid $55 for it and I got another aventus clone. It starts fizzy and fresh, but quickly changes into fruity batch of aventus. It lasts only two hours on my skin and the projection is terrible.

Great video Paul. How do you compare this against the PP clone? I find the PP clone very bright and vesty. I don’t get much of the fourgere notes coming through.
It makes you wonder how a 20 quid frag can be nearly an exact copy of something that costs over £200. Love the cheapies , but you CAN end up with a bunch of 💩 , when you could have put the cash towards something decent . Imperium’s a no brainer pick up . Cheers 🥂
The high end frags charge for the name and know people will spend money just to say that they did. It costs maybe 3 bucks to make and bottle a frag. I've gotten trash designer brands before, so don't think it's just the cheapies.

Ambroxen seems to cause nose blindness on me sometimes, so I would not be surprised if that is what is going on, if you get wafts of it hours later, and others can still smell it, than it's usually nose blindness. which means, that when my bottle arrives, I'll make sure to only spray my lower sides (clothes) and behind neck/back. anything with heavy saffron has the same if not more nose shutdown effect on me. "Anosmia".
This one is closer. The Alexandria might be better quality but it definitely goes in a different direction. I’d say Zion is like 70% similar and this one is like 80% maybe more.

This perfume smells quite good, but DOESN't fit to everyone. It's less gentle, but probably strong and expressive. It hits your nose receptors as soon as you spray it and reminds of something made in Arabian countries. Very specific scent, not everyone might like it. It rather fits those who is a boss or a chief at your job but not a subordinate person. It outlines a man out of a crowd, and you can't tell this man what to do cuz It's a smell of confidence, for people who really know what and how to do something, for those who are able to make quick decisions. It's a 100% MAN's fragrance, not unisex. It contains VERY (JUST VERY) bright notes of bergamot, citrus, ginger and some unknown to me herbs (like medical ones) grown in Dubai or countries like that. I wouldn't say this perfume is suitable to me. I mean I wouldn't buy it once again. I'd rather buy "Armand basi in blue" which is fresher, less harsh and reminds me of an aftershave cream. That's the one of my favourite perfumes. But tastes differ. Thank you and forgive me for my English cuz it's not my native language.

This is a cheapie banger, got it a week ago and the performance for the price is very solid.

My box also just fell apart. The scent is pleasant but really doesn't last for me.. maybe a couple of hours. Might try overspraying at some point

Well I say in the video that it’s difficult to find a 1% difference so unless the pp version is re-bottled genuine Elysium it can’t smell any closer.
