Never knew we needed this match let alone see it and one of the best matches
I feel like Copeland was on the offensive for about 7% of this match, but he was there when it counts. The story of Penta throwing everything at Copeland but Copeland as the veteran waited for his moment. Great stuff.
AS a veteran Copeland knows all he needs is for the younger guy to make that 1 mistake and the match is over and boy did Penta make that one mistake while being the dominate one in the match.
Penta is 39 and has been wrestling since 2007.

I bet that would of been good about 5 years ago. I always appreciated and like Daniels. He was often overlooked but he could go. He's put on a bit of weight and has slowed down a good bit.

I'm happy to see Copeland wrestling. At one point I thought I'd never see him in the ring ever again. He looks happy to be wrestling again. I'm happy to see him in matchups that he's never been against.

Copleland is truly the ultimate opportunitist to come to AEW to have matches with the pool of talent that they have and make them good. There is a lot more coming down the pipe line to get in the ring with an Attitude Era legend.

What a match between Adam Copeland and penta. I knew it was going to be a banger and it was exactly that. Adam is in his best shape and he is going to put TNT championship way over than Christian did. His next feud will be against malakai black.

Man for the most part, AEW really uses its vets well. Their have been misses, but loved Sting and Jeff Jarrett and now copeland/Edge have all done really well in the ring

Good match and i liked how the finish had Copeland essentially barely make it through since dude ate a Code Red and the Armbreaker, just kicking out before 3 and then fell into the cover following a Spear in mid air to Penta, this showing that if Penta didnt go airborne but rather did a Fear Factor (or Penta Driver), he most likely would have won. It both shows Copeland having the experience edge and being tough due to surviving the combo Penta did on him at the end, while also making Penta look strong due to how he nearly managed to defeat a guy by himself (barring that one Spear that Alex took outside) that Christian and his crew could not when he won the TNT Title.
A mixed tag team in the making there, willow and Adam copeland
