all of them are similar. they are all manufactured by one Chinese company and rebranded in Indian market.

1st port (Ge) 1Gbps Must use cat5e or cat6 cable & 2nd port (Fe) 100Mbps

For your information Iam taking new connection from franchise person.
configuration only takes less then 10 minutes for experts. but you need all required information. BSNL have to activate your account.

I have a question: I see that there is a blue terminal at the end of the yellow optical fibre connection coming from BSNL side. They have given me a similar cable but with a green terminal. From a few unreliable sources, I learnt that the green terminal is a cheaper version of the blue terminal. But I also head that these green and blue terminals can be based on two different technology so each of them will not be compatible with a given modem/router input. I see that your router also has blue input. so, for you, it is good: blue terminal in blue input. I have to buy a modem/router with green optical input but I cannot find it on the internet. Can you please clarify this? Does the blue or green colour of the terminal matter?
terminal color don't matters much. inside core important. if you are buying go for 5Ghz wifi ac model.

Hi Good Day! We have configured the devices and internt is working fine. We wanted to change the router now and new router does not work with same username and pwd. I know mac binding ONU list and ONT configiration. Even I did the derigister with old modem and configured new modem but its not working. Intenet will be up only for the first modem I have configured.
BSNL people still did not help so far. I dont know where to remove this binding? why only first device working? and in ONT is it possible to deleted and change?
All connections are in single VLAN id - so could not delete VLAN for resetting on ONT.

your connection is from BSNL franchisee or directly from BSNL
@@onesaturn4946 from bsnl franchisee, these days new type line lease OLT, we have single vlan id for entire olt for internet
So the user id and pwd does not work on any oher moden - only works with this machine.
@@kirangs28 No, Collect all the information mentioned in the video from the old modem or from the franchisee. Franchisees normally don't use the mac binding configuration in ONU. Take your new router to franchisee's office. they will configure it.

When I configure the LAN client (i.e my PC) to have a static IP instead of accepting the DHCP IP dished out by the router, the PC is not able to connect to the internet although it is connected to the router. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance
check your Pc's ipv4 address in ethernet properties. Iam using static IP address works perfectly fine.
@@onesaturn4946 I have set the IP in ethernet properties. In fact, have been using static IP with CFibernet ISP without any problem. I am having a problem only with my NEW BSNL connection.
in the above reply, the ip & route cmd outputs are with DHCP set in Ethernet properties. TBelow that is the output with static IP settings. I am using Ubuntu 20.x

Ive the same revo router with bsnl fibre .
Ive several smart plugs and bulbs in the network. But I can't use them directly with my fibre network, I must connect all my smart devices with a JIOFI , and only then it works ,while all the voice assistant Alexa',s are directly connected with the Bsnl Fibre.
And router is set on 2.4Ghz only.
There is no one in my village who could diagnose and help me with a fix here
2 types of smart devices are there.
1) Internet over communication
2) Local network communication

Sir, I have optilink op xt71000n ONT which has similar settings to the one you are using.
I want to use use to only connect and access various devices to make it work for home automation using home assistant. The problem I am facing is I am unable to connect or open other devices after connecting to the WiFi network. Also the WiFi goes down when I try to do a simple nmap scan to locate connected devices. What settings should I change? Please help
I don't understand what is your issue. Iam using home assistant, mqtt server in my laptop & esp8266 with this router (dhcp enabled) & D-link 2750u (as extender dhcp disabled).

Today I debugged the router using the serial ports(Rx,Tx) and found some below error messages:
"wlano-util-err: System Memory reach oom-killer threshold!
wlano-other-err: RX DROP: Broadcast storm happened!"
@@PANKAJKUMARKBN These routers are manufactured by Guangzhou Chip Technologies in china. Rebranded and sold in India. Quality also not upto the mark.
Broadcast storm - may be it can't process lot of traffic.

Bsnl people have setup up the optic fibre in my house but since i was not having router at that time they cudnt connect and do the configuration...they will come again but dont know when. Can I connect the patch cord with my router and start the connection by myself following this configuration steps? Do I need to pay the monthly bill before doing this configuration?
normally activation and installation process goes same day. first confirm your account activated or not. then collect all the required information told in this video from BSNL officials. Simply follow this video you can configure your router in home.

Pon breaking means your device needs to sync again & again due to a fault in ftth line. or very high Noise in your ftth cable (poor signal)

I have 100 mbps speed BSNL wifi. My android 11 phone can't get more than 1 mbps from BSNL wifi. I get 80 mbps speed in my laptop. My friend's phone connects to my wifi with 20+ mbps. So I thought it is my phone issue and took it to service center.They connected to Airtel WIFI. It was 30+ Mbps with Airtel WIFI. So they said phone is fine. BSNL operator says "since one phone is getting good speed, there is no issue with BSNL WI-FI". I am not understanding whether it's phone issue or wifi issue. I did factory reset of phone, updated all softwares. Still my phone is not able to grasp Wi-Fi speed more than 1 Mbps. Please help🙏
Take backup then reset and reconfigure router.

SIr i have a problem,in my connection both phone and internet is enabled in bsnl FTTH connection. Its a non wifi unit. it has 2 Lan ports but iam unable to get internet while using my Pc or laptop when connected through a Lan cable. Due to which iam unable to connect a external wifi router.

Voip Status is registered. But when I ring the phone number, phone device doesn't ring while voip status in router is showing "ringing" as status. I checked the phone elsewhere and no fault with phone device or cables. What could be the issue?
recheck Application - VOIP check line 1 enable or not. Watch this guide video carefully. If problem not solved contact BSNL or franchisee.

@@umaramin92 contact Railwire employees get all information required for configuration. if you take your router to their office they will configure it for you its only 10 minutes work. I think no Charges.

Yes definitely you can. First watch video without skipping note down information you required and backup that information from old router. (otherwise you have to collect that information from franchisee or BSNL officals.

They have listed many methods and config but alas i have been given huaewi ont sterling model where i cant seems to find anyone who could help me. Its so sad that every private provider like jio airtel provides this but not bsnl. I hope you can research into this bit more to help me out.

Bro. EPON connection status is Registered Not Authenticated. And Rx is -22. I am getting losses while doing Skype and teams calls
-22 is not a problem. up to -27 no need to worry. Recheck the details with BSNL.
