She actually is better because Marth's and Roy's playstyle is all about getting close and personal. The Falchion's tipping mechanic doesn't fit well with this kind of playstyle with you having to back up before attacks or practice spacing and memorize the right distances and ranges for attacks, whereas with Roy, the closer you hit the stronger, fitting the playstyle much more. Because Lucina is Marth without the tipping, chances are you rarely ever deal more damage than Lucina's fixed stats and most of the time, do less damage. To say likewise for Chrom is hard as Roy is really good already, but with his UAir literally being Aether he's better if fixed damage isn't taken to account. Albeit Roy still has the superior recovery.
Sword characters aren't really about getting "close and personal". In fact the big advantage of having a sword is that you can space even while playing rushdown. Roy's forced to get close, essentially negating a good chunk of sword utility, and marth is forced to space, which is good with a sword but punishes you a bit every time you get the distance wrong. Now both chrom and lucina don't have to worry about how far they are form the opponent in terms of how much damage and knockback they do, which makes them more consistent, forgiving and adaptable.

I used the thief in combat in other hacks like Order of the Crimson Navel or Staff of Ages, but there they were actually useful... 5 Base-strength with 30% growth? nope, not worth it^^ Lucina: Comes along ,but isn't as strong as I thought she would be. 0 Luck-Base hinders her avoidance, her damage is just okay-ish and I still have no idea if her skill does actually something!^^
I would highly recommend training Makoto throughout these next few chapters, there are stealables almost every chapter here on out that are worth your time like stat boosters.
Looks like you’ve really taken a liking to shanghai teahouse. If you like that type of music I suggest you to listen to other touhou songs or if you like the melody you can find many fan-made arrangements of the song and other touhou song as well since the creator, zun, has stated that he doesn’t mind others making parodies of his work. Btw if anyone(probably no one though) is curious, my favorite touhou song is heian alien and my best girl/favorite character is Marisa.
Lucina actually does have a lot of personality in her supports, she's probably in my top 20 FE charactets just based on her support convoes alone. Two of my favorite moments were when she scalded her sister for being afraid of a bug, only to witness it was a massive flying cocroach and proceeded to panic and try to use the par. falchion to squash it, and her support with her mother where they go clothes shopping, and we get to know her fashion sense is unexpectedly gaudy and flamboyant, picking a vibrant, technicolor dress with colored polkadots and lace. I just love that she seems so stoic and reserved because of how professional she behaves in times of conflict, but when things are peaceful she's actually a total goofball who's socially awkward and totally unawhere.
The crit animation was actually an existing fan-made Hector crit animation. The earliest I've seen it was in a video showing off animations for Dorcas emblem.

Lucina is flat and static as a character, throughout the game nothing about her changes after chapter 13 and all that changes by that time is that she takes off her mask literally and figuratively.

Tbh, I can agree with Mangs, never understood the hype around Lucina, even as my first FE game, and after involving myself with the FE community and playing through Awakening a second time. She's just to basic. That's why now everytime I play through Awakening, I make sure Chrom marries the maiden. Lucina is too basic to have an actually good mother.
