Actually, based on deep investigations on the field in many coutries, the ratio is more like 5 or 6 non-reported sightings for each reported sighting. Unless investigators go about asking everybody and actively wake up the people when there is a high profile case, they keep their memories to themselves. Field reporting is absolutely essential to a full view of ufo cases.

Even with the radar evidence, the radar operator Jack Bushong suffered ridicule. Thankfully, he was later vindicated. But imagine even with the evidence people don't want to believe it. Big shame.
My wife and I saw these lights that night. Very close to us. But we were in Au Gres on US 23 just north of m55. Then a week later we saw them there again. Same spot.
I was living there at the time in Benton Harbor and a buddy told me a crazy story. In Bridgeman Michigan is a nuclear power station and it had a buffer zone around it so we used to go there and have bonfires and drink beer. That night he was down there partying and told me three UFOs dived into the lake just offshore from the station. That evening the reports about the UFOs were all over the local news.

15-16 years ago traveling as canadian trucker thru Michigan I saw big bright ball and then 3 smaller lights come out of it, then making speedy dash around and couple minutes latter returned all into big ball. I heard on radio so many other truckers seeing same happening.
There was a time in my town here in the Philippines maybe 1995 during a summer night, we were outside the Church grounds, there was an occasion and a lot of people were there even cops, a circle shaped craft passed by slowly, it was pretty low and no sound was produced. We were astounded. Even cops don't know what it was. It has different light colors, green, red, yellowish and white. Then it headed towards the big Mountain and vanished in the dark clouds.

I was one of three witnesses in '79 and we ran into police about an hour later at a diner. They eagerly told us that two deputies had seen the same craft earlier in the evening. They are still out there. West Michigan Lake shore. I've had two sightings over the last ten years. First one in 2012 and second one in 2020. A friend of mine new to the area approached me two years ago and said he was seeing strange lights late at night he was thinking he was the only one seeing them. I asked what was he witnessing and his description was very much what I had experienced. So I told good at least I am not the only one. Very Fascinating.
I live south Chicago on lake Michigan. Right on Indian border. I see a bright light with other lights attached to it that resembles a star or a planet! I can see it from like 1 in the morning to Daylight! Looks as a bright light over the lake! Then there's another one off in the distance that has orange red and glue lights! It's also over the lake but at a great distance! Other strange things are happening in this area also!

Then move very fast and vanish. The ones I've seen are bright white. It would be good to rule out any kind of drone. The speed these travel are many times faster than anything I've seen before. I am right on lake Michigan.

We could be dealing with highly sophisticated military devices since the public is always in the dark about this stuff for 10 years or so. Just like radar we have now. The thing that is weird is when I had my first experience and noticed it like it wanted me to see it is that i thought it could be a sattelite while it was standing still like a star. My mom was living in Holland MI at the time when she saw that exact ufo she said she went on to turn a candle by the window when she saw the craft right outside the house it was so big and close she could make out figures she got so scared and ended up waking everyone

I lived in N Muskegon about 3 miles off Lake Michigan. In the mid 90s one summer I saw a group of white lights to the west. Weird as this sounds they were behaving like a swarm of some sort, very erratic movements.Never saw it before or since, but will never forget.
I saw this too except it had to have been around the year 2001. I was in the passenger seat on our way home from West Branch down to metro Detroit. I was just a kid and never saw this unsolved mysteries or anything on it. So I looked out my window, it was about 2:00pm and it was blue skies. I saw a triangle of white puck lights. They stayed moving at a steady pace south, the same way we were going. After a few minutes in the blink of an eye the triangle shot south so far I could barely see them anymore. They stayed there for about 15 seconds and then disappeared. I haven’t heard of this story from Holland until now. For 20 years I tell people this story and no one believed me. This is crazy
I have a Lunt 300mm H-Alpha scope and often see triangles with lights that move, yet they always seem to stay the same distance apart. It's very difficult to explain and that's why I believe it's extraterrestrial...because I don't have the words to describe it. It's like they come together, but were they ever apart in the first place? And just as this lady explains, it is always impossible to discern whether it is one craft (a mothership) or several crafts independent of each other.
Usually they are individual craft, pilotless probes, but sometimes probably piloted, the lights are not in a fixed structural set way as the would be on a larger craft. Moving independently to one another is not indicative of a singular craft. Being anti gravitational, they can defy gravity in ways we have yet to replicate/ discover. Likely have travelled from far off to come look in on us. Now folks are taking notice, and can photograph these occurrences on cellphones more readily when they happen.

Basically the same over Lake Superior. We went camping all over up north in UP and lower north, we loved going to Lake superior to have fires on the beach and watch UFO's. Sometime single, but usually a swarm like hovering out over the lake in a swarm like insects do, as if they had to stay inside a certain globe area in the shy. UFO's over Michigan is nothing new at all.
The thing is that now we have that trail of lights that circles the earth for communication satellites. Something I do not believe we had back then but do now.
My brother me and our buddy were playing street hockey, triangle shaped object with red, white and blue light's came out of the clouds the thing was freaking huge!! Took off as fast as it came down, absolutely no noise from it.

I’ve seen actual UFOs before, during and after my military service. I was a trained observer. And even I still can’t account for the over 6 hours of missing time nor how I wound up a state over from my planned destination.

Saw these lights seemingly on the approach to MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL) one summer eve in the mid-nineties-----but heading straight for me and unable to see an aircraft body, I thought it was incoming Air Force traffic. They flew into a small, low cloud. And then never flew back out! I could see all the way around this small cloud on a clear eve, no fog, no rain, no other clouds. The next day, similar light sightings around the same time were reported on Ft Myers beach (120 miles south) in a newspaper report.
Ufo which I saw in Eastern Europe approx 20 y ago also had 3 lights. Red and green or blue on wings and white on tail. It flew above me approx 50meters without absolutely any sound. I used to think it was strange plane gliding. But years later I learned that it's impossible to move through air without any sound. If I didn't see it myself I would never believe these stories. But I saw it. I feel obligated to share the word. Strange UAPs are real.

I've seen one thing in the sky i can't explain while I was at my grandma's house who lives on top of a mountain in rural southern WV maybe 5 or 6 years ago. There was only one light though. But it wasn't a plane or helicopter. I thought at first it was farm equipment of some kind because there's another farm near hers within view of her house & is at a little bit of a higher elevation. But then it moved well above the tree tops for a minute or so & then disappeared over another area behind the trees. & no, it wasn't a drone either.
I seen 3 orange orbs in gagetown michigan around October of the same year. The orbs would come together to create one big orb, then break apart and leapfrog each other until eventually coming back together again. They continue this pattern from left to right just over the edge of town for about 15 minutes. A bunch of people seen it to but being from a small town no publicity.
I remember seeing this myself. It was very strange. Never seen anything like it just shoot across the sky then stop in an instant and go the other way and stop.
This is better than most of the drivel currently coming from the national media on UFOs. Done in a human interest format is more compelling versus all these questionable characters from the military industrial intelligence community complex in DC. While it appears most of the aerial footage are re-enactments at least one of them seemed realistic. It would be good to label them as such if real, though I doubt it was as it would be beyond 1994's video recording capabilities.
So many UFO sightings describe multiple ships creating on a triangle formation. I wonder why the UFOs want - or need- to keep the triangle formation intact...
Absolutely Great Stuff! I remember seeing those case on UFO Hunters. I think what is happening here is that some Stations are going through their Respective State's biggest UFO Events and Following up on them to update them from the perspective of the Eye Witnesses. Fantastic Stuff!
I live in North Indiana near the southern tip of lake Michigan and in 1994 I was almost 15 and I removed it being cold and not wanting to be out much longer and the sky above the lake lit up in a white light that lit up the coast ,lake and the faces of all the buildings and homes around the lake and it remained that way for lil over 10 seconds . You could not look at the light . Was truly a terrifying experience that remains a mystery. A meteorologist tracked all the objects and said the objects would react to his radar.
I grew up in that area. Saw strange lights from shore at Warren Dunes State Park in SW lower Michigan during winter... Retured several times that winter and they were alwaye there., Probably in late 1970s. Lights would appear high in the sky and fall straight down to the horison flickering as they fell., behind some clouds and in front of others, Who knows, they might still be there.
I used to take my girlfrind there on clear niights to gaze at the stars. We would sit there in the parking lot for an hour or so trying to figure out what they were, They were bright white lights bigger than stars way out over the lake, Usually a park ranger car would park half way down the hill on a curve to keep an eye on us. They were probably watching them also.
In the 1970s, I saw a "classic" saucer shaped UFO sliding along horizontally in the daytime. It turned into a vertical position, then moved into a large thundercloud type of, and appeared to hide within it for quite some time. Heard later on this is a common behavior by them.
Given the number of sightings, I'd have to believe it's one of two things, either top secret military sightings or extraterrestrials, or both. OK, three possibilities. There is no other logical conclusion.

I seen it in the Thumb of Mi. I just moved back here in 1990 to my parents property where I still reside to this day. I wasn't real sure on the date and year but I never told anyone because I thought they would think I was crazy. My mom and dad were friends with the neighbors and they were over vising us. We were inside the house when I seen another neighbor take some mobile home steps out to the road. I told my dad that I should go get those and the neighbor lady Helen , (who has since passed away years ago is not here as my witness and my parents have since passed away too). Her and I were out to the road to get those steps and we turned around and seen the hovering bright three lights in the sky. I said to her, do you see what I see, and she said yes and so we stood there and watched it. It was moving kind of strangely back and forth and then it disappeared so fast. we went back and told my parents and her husband but they just chuckled at us. We never reported it. I then saw them again years later in the back of the 40 acres here. Nobody can get back to the edge of our property without going through the creek here. Most of the land here is woods that is surrounded by other peoples woods. There are no close roads close enough for anybody to travel back there. I got up to use the bathroom when I came back to the kitchen for a drink of water, I seen bright lights hovering near the woods and was not moving. I thought maybe someone with a big four wheeler was trespassing on the property. but how did they get back there without leaving a trace? The lights disappeared and I went back there to check in the daylight but there was no trace that anybody had been back there.
Crazy thing is, if this is extraterrestrial in any form, thier technology from 1994 could be thousands of years more advanced today in just 29 years here. Perhaps one day on their planet can be 50 years on ours etc. Seen the movie gravity?
Funny how HUNDREDS of people claimed to have seen it, for HOURS, and not a single person thought, "Hmm, maybe I should take a photo of this". And the radar guy, when observing the strangest phenomenon of his life for several hours, didnt bother to inform other weather stations, air traffic control centers, or military bases to check out and verify the phenomenon. This is the thing I find hardest to believe about this story, and severely undermines its credibility in my opinion. At best it is a missed opportunity for convincing documentation and confirmation, and at worst a hoax.

i saw a same colored thing in 1973 on southern tip of lake michigan, hobart, ind. dunes state park area. it was very low and slow and silent. came from south east i-65 area, it left headed east. toward portage ind.
I saw this at the time it happened. Between South Haven and Benton Harbor mi. Around 3:00 am. They are triangular with 4 lights that change color like a prism. A light at each triangular end plus directly in the center. It flew 30 to 50 feet above the tree tops and soundless. If it landed on a football field it would take up most of the room. I saw it around Palisades nuclear plant heading north to south between the 2 highways that paralleled Lake Michigan. From Covert to Hagar Shore between M-63 and I-196.

For me in Cass county MI. Summer night in the early 90s. I'm just some kid riding his bike in the neighborhood at night following a large, silent, low flying structure. With no lights mind you. But I know its there because its blocking out the stars in a large area as it moved along. So who would believe a kid with a big imagination right?

Within weeks the Air Force claimed to have testing new aircraft. Those were the years that military was focused on further developing stealth technologies. It’s also worth mentioning that the US now has a missile that can cause it to appear as almost any type of aircraft on radar. It’s being used in Ukraine, to trick the Russian military to think it’s their own aircraft. I would imagine it took decades to develop.

I'm in Toronto and been seeing the same lights since 2019 it's almost getting boring I see them so often. You just need to pay attention to the sky and you will see something.
Steady light ? Then its a planet or star . If it moves across the sky in a straight line and a relative speed / then its a satelite . But if you see 2 encredibly large silver discs / skimming the atmosphere at incredible rate of speed, so fast if you blinked you would not have seen them but only spotted because of the setting sun on the horizon , then you are seeing a UFO or a UAP . That was my sighting over TO . Not a light in the sky

I woke the morning after this sighting with no idea of what had happened the night before. There was a huge helicopter sized object that glowed bright yellow stationary over the sky light my bed was directly under. I sat up and without any sound it zipped away fast. So fast that it almost looked like it just disappeared. I looked out the window in the direction it went and there was a small basket ball sized orb about a football field away just hoovering. Before I could wake up my husband it too zipped away. I knew it was an UFOk but as I had a son who at five thought "magic" was real and didn't talk to the kids about it, only my husband. I was shocked when the kids came home telling me about all the neighbors seeing UFOs the night before! Nothing I knew of could move that fast, remain silent, had no visible means of propulsion or glowed so brightly it was as if you were looking at the sun. I wan an attorney and knew people who reported seeing things were viewed as kooks which is a shame because so many of us saw these things and it was only with each other that we talked about it. To this day my reaction seems odd to me. I simply wasn't in the least surprised or shocked.
Why hasn’t anyone take any photo of the event. Hundreds of witnesses and the event was seen for halv an hour of some people. That’s just a mysterius, even more than eventuell visit from outer space.

I was wondering where it went and all of a sudden it was at the same spot I saw it at the start. Now it had a slow pulse to it. Looked like it was out in the stars. other ones arrived. But it did not dawn on me until many years later that they were reading my mind. Hence. Is it a Sattelite? Then it moves like a sattelite. Very intense and people better wake up to the global eye thats watching our every move and interactions with the robot design. Self checkouts. Robots. I lived in N Muskegon about 3 miles off Lake Michigan. In the mid 90s one summer I saw a group of white lights to the west. Weird as this sounds they were behaving like a swarm of some sort, very erratic movements.Never saw it before or since, but will never forget.
I saw this too except it had to have been around the year 2001. I was in the passenger seat on our way home from West Branch down to metro Detroit. I was just a kid and never saw this unsolved mysteries or anything on it.
So I looked out my window, it was about 2:00pm and it was blue skies. I saw a triangle of white puck lights. They stayed moving at a steady pace south, the same way we were going. After a few minutes in the blink of an eye the triangle shot south so far I could barely see them anymore. They stayed there for about 15 seconds and then disappeared.
I haven’t heard of this story from Holland until now. For 20 years I tell people this story and no one believed me. This is crazy
I have a Lunt 300mm H-Alpha scope and often see triangles with lights that move, yet they always seem to stay the same distance apart. It's very difficult to explain and that's why I believe it's extraterrestrial...because I don't have the words to describe it. It's like they come together, but were they ever apart in the first place? And just as this lady explains, it is always impossible to discern whether it is one craft (a mothership) or several crafts independent of each other.
I recorded a triangle 3 months ago with my night vision camera.
Usually they are individual craft, pilotless probes, but sometimes probably piloted, the lights are not in a fixed structural set way as the would be on a larger craft.
Moving independently to one another is not indicative of a singular craft.
Being anti gravitational, they can defy gravity in ways we have yet to replicate/ discover.
Likely have travelled from far off to come look in on us.
Now folks are taking notice, and can photograph these occurrences on cellphones more readily when they happen.

Basically the same over Lake Superior. We went camping all over up north in UP and lower north, we loved going to Lake superior to have fires on the beach and watch UFO's. Sometime single, but usually a swarm like hovering out over the lake in a swarm like insects do, as if they had to stay inside a certain globe area in the shy. UFO's over Michigan is nothing new at all.
The thing is that now we have that trail of lights that circles the earth for communication satellites. Something I do not believe we had back then but do now.

Saw these lights seemingly on the approach to MacDill AFB (Tampa, FL) one summer eve in the mid-nineties-----but heading straight for me and unable to see an aircraft body, I thought it was incoming Air Force traffic. They flew into a small, low cloud. And then never flew back out! I could see all the way around this small cloud on a clear eve, no fog, no rain, no other clouds. The next day, similar light sightings around the same time were reported on Ft Myers beach (120 miles south) in a newspaper report.
Ufo which I saw in Eastern Europe approx 20 y ago also had 3 lights. Red and green or blue on wings and white on tail. It flew above me approx 50meters without absolutely any sound. I used to think it was strange plane gliding. But years later I learned that it's impossible to move through air without any sound. If I didn't see it myself I would never believe these stories. But I saw it. I feel obligated to share the word. Strange UAPs are real.

I've seen one thing in the sky i can't explain while I was at my grandma's house who lives on top of a mountain in rural southern WV maybe 5 or 6 years ago. There was only one light though. But it wasn't a plane or helicopter. I thought at first it was farm equipment of some kind because there's another farm near hers within view of her house & is at a little bit of a higher elevation. But then it moved well above the tree tops for a minute or so & then disappeared over another area behind the trees. & no, it wasn't a drone either.
God, our military are working on some seriously scary stuff.

I seen 3 orange orbs in gagetown michigan around October of the same year. The orbs would come together to create one big orb, then break apart and leapfrog each other until eventually coming back together again. They continue this pattern from left to right just over the edge of town for about 15 minutes. A bunch of people seen it to but being from a small town no publicity.

This is better than most of the drivel currently coming from the national media on UFOs. Done in a human interest format is more compelling versus all these questionable characters from the military industrial intelligence community complex in DC. While it appears most of the aerial footage are re-enactments at least one of them seemed realistic. It would be good to label them as such if real, though I doubt it was as it would be beyond 1994's video recording capabilities.
It was 1994 and the event occured for hours. Why did nobody make a picture of it with a camera? All these witnesses. This is weird.

I live in North Indiana near the southern tip of lake Michigan and in 1994 I was almost 15 and I removed it being cold and not wanting to be out much longer and the sky above the lake lit up in a white light that lit up the coast ,lake and the faces of all the buildings and homes around the lake and it remained that way for lil over 10 seconds . You could not look at the light . Was truly a terrifying experience that remains a mystery. A meteorologist tracked all the objects and said the objects would react to his radar.
On that day we also saw the same UFO lighting in India-Madhya Pradesh- Bastar District city name is Jagdalpur in my childhood I still remember that
I grew up in that area. Saw strange lights from shore at Warren Dunes State Park in SW lower Michigan during winter... Retured several times that winter and they were alwaye there., Probably in late 1970s. Lights would appear high in the sky and fall straight down to the horison flickering as they fell., behind some clouds and in front of others, Who knows, they might still be there.

I used to take my girlfrind there on clear niights to gaze at the stars. We would sit there in the parking lot for an hour or so trying to figure out what they were, They were bright white lights bigger than stars way out over the lake, Usually a park ranger car would park half way down the hill on a curve to keep an eye on us. They were probably watching them also.
In the 1970s, I saw a "classic" saucer shaped UFO sliding along horizontally in the daytime. It turned into a vertical position, then moved into a large thundercloud type of, and appeared to hide within it for quite some time. Heard later on this is a common behavior by them.

Given the number of sightings, I'd have to believe it's one of two things, either top secret military sightings or extraterrestrials, or both. OK, three possibilities. There is no other logical conclusion.

The Netflix Unsolved Mysteries segment on this sighting was very good. One witness reported seeing one of the craft sucking up water from the lake! Amazing with all these witnesses and radar detection.

I seen it in the Thumb of Mi. I just moved back here in 1990 to my parents property where I still reside to this day. I wasn't real sure on the date and year but I never told anyone because I thought they would think I was crazy. My mom and dad were friends with the neighbors and they were over vising us. We were inside the house when I seen another neighbor take some mobile home steps out to the road. I told my dad that I should go get those and the neighbor lady Helen , (who has since passed away years ago is not here as my witness and my parents have since passed away too). Her and I were out to the road to get those steps and we turned around and seen the hovering bright three lights in the sky. I said to her, do you see what I see, and she said yes and so we stood there and watched it. It was moving kind of strangely back and forth and then it disappeared so fast. we went back and told my parents and her husband but they just chuckled at us. We never reported it. I then saw them again years later in the back of the 40 acres here. Nobody can get back to the edge of our property without going through the creek here. Most of the land here is woods that is surrounded by other peoples woods. There are no close roads close enough for anybody to travel back there. I got up to use the bathroom when I came back to the kitchen for a drink of water, I seen bright lights hovering near the woods and was not moving. I thought maybe someone with a big four wheeler was trespassing on the property. but how did they get back there without leaving a trace? The lights disappeared and I went back there to check in the daylight but there was no trace that anybody had been back there.
Crazy thing is, if this is extraterrestrial in any form, thier technology from 1994 could be thousands of years more advanced today in just 29 years here. Perhaps one day on their planet can be 50 years on ours etc. Seen the movie gravity?
Funny how HUNDREDS of people claimed to have seen it, for HOURS, and not a single person thought, "Hmm, maybe I should take a photo of this". And the radar guy, when observing the strangest phenomenon of his life for several hours, didnt bother to inform other weather stations, air traffic control centers, or military bases to check out and verify the phenomenon. This is the thing I find hardest to believe about this story, and severely undermines its credibility in my opinion. At best it is a missed opportunity for convincing documentation and confirmation, and at worst a hoax.

I live in West Michigan, in 2011 I had a white light fly up about 8 foot away from me. It turned into 3 lights 2 red 1 white then it showed off it's capabilities before taking off at incredible speed with 2 fa18 fighter jets trying to catch up to them

I saw this at the time it happened. Between South Haven and Benton Harbor mi. Around 3:00 am. They are triangular with 4 lights that change color like a prism. A light at each triangular end plus directly in the center. It flew 30 to 50 feet above the tree tops and soundless. If it landed on a football field it would take up most of the room. I saw it around Palisades nuclear plant heading north to south between the 2 highways that paralleled Lake Michigan. From Covert to Hagar Shore between M-63 and I-196.

For me in Cass county MI. Summer night in the early 90s. I'm just some kid riding his bike in the neighborhood at night following a large, silent, low flying structure. With no lights mind you. But I know its there because its blocking out the stars in a large area as it moved along. So who would believe a kid with a big imagination right?

Within weeks the Air Force claimed to have testing new aircraft. Those were the years that military was focused on further developing stealth technologies. It’s also worth mentioning that the US now has a missile that can cause it to appear as almost any type of aircraft on radar. It’s being used in Ukraine, to trick the Russian military to think it’s their own aircraft. I would imagine it took decades to develop.

I'm in Toronto and been seeing the same lights since 2019 it's almost getting boring I see them so often. You just need to pay attention to the sky and you will see something.
Steady light ? Then its a planet or star . If it moves across the sky in a straight line and a relative speed / then its a satelite . But if you see 2 encredibly large silver discs / skimming the atmosphere at incredible rate of speed, so fast if you blinked you would not have seen them but only spotted because of the setting sun on the horizon , then you are seeing a UFO or a UAP . That was my sighting over TO . Not a light in the sky

I woke the morning after this sighting with no idea of what had happened the night before. There was a huge helicopter sized object that glowed bright yellow stationary over the sky light my bed was directly under. I sat up and without any sound it zipped away fast. So fast that it almost looked like it just disappeared. I looked out the window in the direction it went and there was a small basket ball sized orb about a football field away just hoovering. Before I could wake up my husband it too zipped away. I knew it was an UFOk but as I had a son who at five thought "magic" was real and didn't talk to the kids about it, only my husband. I was shocked when the kids came home telling me about all the neighbors seeing UFOs the night before! Nothing I knew of could move that fast, remain silent, had no visible means of propulsion or glowed so brightly it was as if you were looking at the sun. I wan an attorney and knew people who reported seeing things were viewed as kooks which is a shame because so many of us saw these things and it was only with each other that we talked about it. To this day my reaction seems odd to me. I simply wasn't in the least surprised or shocked.
Why hasn’t anyone take any photo of the event. Hundreds of witnesses and the event was seen for halv an hour of some people. That’s just a mysterius, even more than eventuell visit from outer space.
