Incase anyone hasn't... Jimmy Page caught a BAND-MAID concert when inJapan (i think in 2016) and so impressed by Akane's drumming he asked to meet her after the show. Whn she was told she believed the band and crew were pranking her. But they weren't..Jimmy meet her and asked for a photo with her. .So I guess if Jimmy Page thinks your good enough to ask YOU for a photo..then your doing something right.

If you talk about the greatness of AKANE's drumming, In the part that goes from 4/4 to 5/4 and back to 4/4, I think you should also pay attention to Akane's wonderful drumming that keeps the beat feeling smooth without losing the heavyness.

Everyone has a favorite band. It's all subjective and all according to what you like. I sincerely like this band, they're great. But, I think they fall more into a cool technically proficient band for me than something that I would listen to on a daily basis.
I used to be a Dream Theater fanboy for 30 years until I found Band-Maid early last year. Band-Maid are now my favorite band of all times. They are great musicians and have not released a bad song yet, I have no BM songs that I skip. DT are fantastic musicians as well, but BM songs are way more catchy and gave me back the feeling for music. BM has affected me in ways no band have ever done before, I'm so happy BM exist and I finally found them. I am a bass player and MISA is my new inspiration :-)

I am not taking anything away from their musicianship or songwriting ability here but because of the time they have been together and the improvement in playing and songwriting ability, for me Onset, is nothing more than a walk in the park for Band Maid. I repeat that is my view. Onset is one on my least favourite tracks from Band Maid. You mentioned the quality of the audio and it would be surprising if you were not aware the audio has been post produced, as it has to be to make DVD's listenable.

The guitar sound from Akane, reminds me a lot of U2's 'The Edge', guitar sound from the early 80's.
