A light trap on mount Mau Son, Vietnam

It was a rainy, windy full moon night on Mount Mau Son. So we didn't expect much. But see what an astonishing diversity of insects came together in the shine of the light trap.

I've been told anything that is UV works wonderfully, Mercury Vapor and Blacklights that give off UV in particular.
