    I have my own trap
it just ends up being my bathroom window, the screen was built just half an inch of the height off so it leaves this long strip of a gap, the moths tends to get stuck in it so every night i go to show or leak i end up seeing the moths just existing on the inside of the screen, open up the window abit and this just fly right in and land onto me
I then feed them and the next day let them out

What bulb do you use please?

125W Mercury Vapour bulb, though lots of other bulbs are available to use. The MVbulb is one of the brightest, but may not be suitable for all settings. Here is a good link - www.angleps.com/mothtraps.php

would this risk attracting spiders? it seems like spiders would be interested in the moths gathering.

Hi, yes this could be possible as well as other insects like beetles etc.

you will probably get spiders on and around the trap. the webs need to be brushed off before usage or there will be lots of entangled moths. jumping spiders will also be around and hunt down smaller moths
