Thank you for uploading this. It’s ironic, but Nino Firetto actually lives in the San Francisco area now. He’s the DJ on his online radio station Memory Lane Radio and he’s a tour guide as well.

God, I could remember that Madam Gusto. But could never remember the name, and went out of my mind trying to find at least one bit of footage or reference on RUclips. Thanks though for uploading this. I also remember owning Night stalker when I was young.

That’s ok, I remember it at the time, and this is the only bit I have found.

Anyone else notice that the production assistant for Sooty was Pat Sharpe, and the designer was Anne Diamond?

27:14 Mullets and those short sleeved jackets were very indicative of the mid 80's. 😁

That fly bit reminded me of being a kid in the 80s...you couldn't move for " waiter there's a fly in my soup " jokes
    Time flies.....

Was Splash a CITV post Magpie attempt at a Blue Peter style show?

I believe it was. It lasted from 1985-1988 originally with Michael Groth, Nino Firetto & Victoria Studd, though Victoria left around late 86-early 87 and was replaced by Lisa Maxwell, though she left in 1988 before the show ended. There were some Splash Special spinoffs as well including Michael, Nino & Victoria on holiday and a Splash Special featuring the actress Jane Horn (of Starlight Express fame) as she entered the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School.
