I bought one of these though lowes wont get it for another week. I need to level a lot I cleared most the trees off of. Hopefully this tiller will do the job with the help of a sawzaw in the dirt when ever I hit a tree root I missed.

the machine should do the work. it is extremely heavy, and a hydraulic tiller unlike a gear/chain driven system. my 2cents on the project. go shallow and make several passes. less chance of getting roots entangled in the tines and cutting them out. best of luck on the project.

I just purchased and it pulls me so hard and fast I can't control it. It takes off more than tills. Any recommendations?

thanks for the question. you need to raise the depth gage[L-shape link] and lower the drag link [straight shaft first 2 or 3 feet you may need to push down on the handles to sink the drag link in the ground, from there it will control itself. i use the depth gage usually on 2nd or 3rd pass. i have drag link at least 1 hole lower than the depth gage. hope this helps. let me know if you have more questions.

@Mr Wilson Thank you. That is only thing I can think of is to set the drag as deep as I can hoping it slows it down. It's my garden spot from last year so softer ground but at 6'1" 290 it runs away from me so far. I'll play with the drag bar.

Would you buy it again?? Is it a good reliable machine?? I have a front tire but need a rear tine..This seems like the best option.thanks

this thing is a tank. the tines both spin forward and reverse which is great when you get rocks caught up in the tines. the machine is extremely heavy in weight suggest using heavy duty ramps. given the tines go forward/reverse AND front wheels go forward/reverse and its durability it is worth the price. i would have killed any other tiller tilling on the rocky soil.

I know it's just a video about the tiller but can you actually plant in that soil

i was able to plant corn. strawberries plant did grow, but no berries. i think animals kept picking them off. thanks for the question.

So the first oil plug is for the tines? Is that necessary - this is the first video I've seen that talks about it - didn't see anything in the manual either. I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

thank you for the question. yes it is necessary. the oil is for the transmission - turning the wheels AND spinning the tines. it is a chain driven system. think of a manual transmission in a vehicle. you can operate without for a short while, but will burn up the transmission. feel free to ask any question you may have. thank you again

@mrwilson4909 I never found specks on oil for either the motor or the transmission. The manual sucks as far as that goes. It doesn't even tell you there is two oil sumps.
