- Hi guys,
this is the guide that i made to go out of the weird brick mode that i got from installing infinity 6.61 cfw on my psp 3004
I don't know if I'm the fist one to find this way out the brick or soft brick, but didn't seem to find any guide online.
Not totally sure if works on other consolles, please let me know down in the comments

This video helped. Thanks a lot!!! My psp 3006 got bricked when I updated it to 6.61 then installed infinity and used the 6.61 PRO Flash updater without installing CFW first. I thought my psp was done for. Then i tried this, when my psp turned on,, I was able to install the CFW.
I installed infinity before CFW and psp was immune but a psp game (angry birds) was too mad and it yetted the PSP (idk if psp turns on again)

Oh My God 😮 I was messing around with my PSP and caused it to brick. I was literally crying and I bumped into this video and my system is working again thank you very much for this.❤❤❤❤❤

HELP! i bricked my PSP like 1 year ago and now during this quarantine i tried to fix it but i can't come up with a way. When i try to turn it on, the green light turns on but the PSP doesnt turn on. I tried going into recovery mode by turning it on and holding the R trigger but it wont let me access it. I also tried turning it on by Holding the power button and holding down START SELECT HOME SQUARE TRIANGLE but it still didn't work. Help i'm desperate,my PSP is e1004.

It was luck.. when it happened to me I did try a lot of times until i managed to turn it on.. then i did it a few times mote until I understood the pattern 😂

I have bricked my psp 5 years ago. I tried to update the firmware and I accidentally removed the battery. Any idea on how can I unbrick it?
Hi there, you can try either my method or the method that some other wrote here in the comment and see if works.. The issue is that if you removed the battery there is the chance that your psp has no sw installed and therefore it's impossible to be loaded again

The problem with the brick is that if it is a proper one there is no way to unbrick it.. i did this video because other people where having this "soft brick" problem doing the infinity mod and i found a way to reboot mine.. i couldn't help in this case

@@s_aku if i recall correctly the psp street is not compatible with the infinity sw.. if you had any problem while installing it it might be a full brick.. nothing sure though
Press START SELECT SQUARE AND TRIANGLE then turn on keeping holding that buttons, this will format your flash to factory and try to reinstall the CFW that worked on my psp

hi, we have same PSP model 3004 (piano). I used a 6.0 pro version from files to update . Some games are working but retro games downloadedlike Castlevania Chronicle X, Bombermanland, age of zombies can not played, they show all the games intro, but when it says "start", I can not start all trying every button. Any recommendations?

I got a PSP Go 6.61 LME-2.3 and whenever i format the system it says format failed (802E1002) my PC can't access the storage but I still have access to the recovery mode. Anyone here know how to fixed it? Thanks

How did you instal infinity 6.61? by computer on psp memory stick? becouse I have only black screen and i cant instal this from psp.

I installed it via memory stick. I putted all the files needed inside and followed the guide here on youtube to crack the consolle but after the install it goes black.
Is the infinity auto install in psp by using L and home?

Sorry for asking such question but I have a PSP 3001e with 660PRO-B10. I remove the memory card while it was update to 6.61 infinity (I was a real noob)
Any help ?
This is a tough one.. I'm no expert but if you removed the card during the installation, some files might be missing inside the psp so that it is impossible for it to turn on.. Unfortunately your case might be a proper "brick" and based on forums online there is nothing you can do.. maybe someone else might be more helpful than me!

Are you making a statement or asking a question?
If the lights are on it means that the PSP is powered on but if the screen is blank (and it doesn't make any sound while turning on) then it means that the PSP can't read any software and then it can't boot up (the PSP is then bricked)
This video only shows how I found a way to boot an unresposive PSP up after a bad infinity installation..
If your PSP has the same problem you can try to boot it with the same technique I used or the one suggested by some other users in the comments

Ok so your psp is partially bricked. Has to do with permanent cfw to thr motherboard i believe. Not sure. But i perm flashed cfw to my psp 2000 and uninstalled it again because for some reason the plugins werent working and then i shut off the device and turned it back on and it was bricked. So i unbricked it and will install cfw tomorrow and test things out.

I had the same problem that when I tried to turn on the PSP the green light flash but the screen didn't show anything.
The only solution for me was to take the battery out, connect the av cable to charge, turn on the PSP and then but the battery again.
But I found the solution.
The solution was reprogram the battery, probably because something that I installed program it into a Pandora battery.
So search for the program and install it.
It had a option called to remove it.
Then after rebooting the VSH it no longer need the previous process to turn on the PSP.
So for someone with this problem see this comment.

Your files may be corrupt! Try downloading again.
I tought of that as well, as soon as I found this method I tried the installation 3 more times with the same result.
I had a scare right after I installed the cfw by MrMario2011, right after the first boot the keylock would always be on, I thought it was the firmware, but no, I had to remove the front cover and remove the power switch board, I lubed it and Its bin perfect. FYI I did install LME instead of PRO!
i half brick the psp3000 trying that hard reset after installing infinity.. and changing files in the flahs memory.. after the hard reset... i cant acces the ms stick... i need the psp to load instantly on service mode.. :(

Yea cuz you were using infinity wrong ur not supposed to run the pro installer every time
One installed you go into the infinity bootloader configuration and select the CFW that you want to use
That has appened on the first ever installation, I wasn't re running the pro installer
@@gabrielecaredda2283 at 3:57 you install pro CFW run a game and reboot. But the thing you should have done is run the infinity bootloader configurator(which isn't even on your PSP) and select PRO CFW by Coldbird

It's been a long time and u might be right cause I honestly don't remember every single step. I seem to recall that the installation failed so that the software wasn't installed after all.. I gave away the psp shortly after I made the video so I couldn't check even if I wanted

@@gabrielecaredda2283 I have the exact same problem but the tutorial you gave didnt work for me so i thought maybe yours is 2000 and mine is 3000 thats why it didnt work but turns out its just a 2000 case with a psp 3000 , sorry dude my bad.
@@regularshowparodi i think what i "found the solution for" its a soft brick of the consolle, some people found it useful some did not. There is a guy that suggested another method (in the comments of this video) try to give it a go and see if that helps

Hello i am trying to contact you. I bricked mine too then my memory card wiped. So psp cant read config etc and cant boot. So if i can get a copy of your memory card i will use it as a base for mine and change importent files with my recovered ones. I will be very pleased if i can get a copy of your memory card(without your games that would be hard to upload and download) with games folder inside because it has some folders like maker etc. But no games. Thank you

It is a psp 3000. The plastic front is although from a 2000 model since the 3000 model was cracked and i had no other part to change it with
