This is the simplest I've seen anyone do this. It's been a real struggle getting the configuration steps really easy even in my in-person Cisco class. With this, I'm super confident I can replicate these configurations. Thanks for showing us the PCs too.
@@CiscoConfig quick question, in 18:49 you entered the subnet mask 255.255.255.0 if the ip address is 10.10.10.1 ? This is an A class IP address, the subnet shouldn't be 255.0.0.0 ? Can you explain please 🙏

Thank you, man. Usually when I watch youtube IT tutorials I'm lost in the sauce. You explained everything well and even explained how the separate computers could communicate after the inter VLAN routing command. Showing us the computers was very smart and I applaud you, good sir. Thanks again!!!!!

Thank you! It's been two years since I've taken the CCNA1 course and your video was just the refresher I needed to get caught back up. Easy to follow along with in packet tracer too.
This is so simple. I feel like a pro already just by watching your videos. This is my first intro to cisco swtich and it's just amazing. Simple and easy to follow. keep these awesome videos coming.
at first place you need to mention that we use console cable to configure cisco switch. i got cisco catalyst 2960-x series and this tutorial very helpful anf easy to understand.
brother thank u so much, i am currently in my first year of my bachelors degree and i have been struggling so hard with my network fundamentals class but ur videos have helped me so much in learning cisco basic configuration
Thanks very much my IT wizard for taking your time on configuring Cisco switch step by step. Part 1&2 has helped me a lot and I've now know how to configure Cisco switch. Please make a special video for me about stooping and Meraki configuring step by step.
thank you very much for your efforts. Its really simple and easy to understand, yet covering all the basic things with a step-by-step explanation and more importantly a good summary after each task. Simply liked it!
Very good tutorial. The only thing is, you can only use the vlan Routing command on a layer 3 device. Otherwise you have to connect your switch to a Router and let it handle the Routing across vLan's.
I really enjoyed this, especially the "enter few times" statement because ssh'ing into anything through putty nobody ever tells you to press enter a few times lol

I'm happy you're explaining why every step is important. I get lost when people assume that a person knows why certain steps are being taken.
