i’m thinking u can add some bushes. maybe some some dried, some green? also maybe some hilly terrain. i think it might be a bit too flat. though i love ur texturing u have done already!! it’s definitely coming along nicely. this is such a huge project! ur brave jumping right into this :)
@@mybricksandme6152 , no problem at all! I’m excited of what different parts you get!! and totally do not feel pressured to include my suggestion! it’s totally up to u!
Yup, that is what I thought. Brownish bushes and different hights. Maybe a dried out riverbed or something. I still think Obi Wan´s hut might fit well into the theme. Since it is not so destroyed looking, it could be placed more close to the fishing store and Arkham Asylum area. Some Ninjago minifigs are quite fitting, too. And I would love to see some Banthas running around. Really looks great so far!
Hmm we are doing lots of thinking. Watching the movie is a good idea too. Love to see a building like blown up and half on the ground next to it with a tree coming out of it. That’s from Brian. More small building type structures whether whole or broken? Hidden side?
Yes.. yes.. and yes.. lol I have some more random hidden side for it, and I'm browsing to see what's out there. So many ideas, this is gonna be the most creative area of the city for sure!
Looking awesome Gina!!! Yeah I would agree with everyone else, some built up terrain, trashed buildings and debris!! Generally i would add to the chaos and maybe look up some dystopian film pictures for a little bit more inspiration? I love all he Batman villains running loose around Apocalypseberg, genuinely looks so good so far, and the beauty with a display like this is, you cant add too much!! Looking forward to seeing more updates my love!!!
Thanks Xan!!! ❤ I love these! Definitely the most creative part of the city, and there is no way to do it wrong! I'm gonna look up some messy buildings and shacks today and place a parts order! Woo hoo!
First off, you pick the best sets to buy, love them! For the colour palette, the rule of 3 is always good, liking the colours you have put down (brown base tones with the sand green and orange look good) and would build pathways out of the brown and dark tan instead of adding black and grey. Don’t know if you have the Vidiyo pirate ship? This might look quite good washed up somewhere along with the minifigs and the others that compliment like the one from the beatbox and the shark dude.
Cool! Thanks for all the thoughts! I was looking at it debating if I had overdone it with too many colors. So good to have more confirmation that it looks OK 👍 So I was thinking of only putting like grays like around whatever shacks and busted up building as like a rocky area. But I can always see how just the darker browns look as well, just to keep it consistent! I do have the vidiyo pirate ship...🤔 I can toss that in and see how it looks for sure! Great suggestions thanks so much!
Hi My Bricks and Me I like the way you are going with this, continue to add more and be creative it looks good to me maybe you add some water features as well
lots of color .what about trash cans, tire or rims,, pipes, tools laying around, couple of more people(not many) rocks, a few plants (dead maybe) wooden boxes.that it my pea brain just shut down. but only you will know for sure when you get it right .i have bionicle what would i know about a city.take care
Those are all great thoughts! That's the kind of stuff i love- I would overlook so much because MY pea brain is in a million other places lol so thanks a bunch! And I would bet that you could make Bioncle into its own city! 😉
Looking awesome for the first draft. This is such a creative city area!
Thanks! Im happy so far! Can't wait to continue the development! 😁

Love how Bert and Ernie got lost and ended up there. Great new section in the city!
Thanks! Yes - definitely not their neck of the woods for sure! Let's hope they stay out of trouble 😆
This is awesome! I look forward to seeing your updates! I'm also working on building a LEGO city as well.
That's awesome Jack! Glad you enjoyed! Good luck with your city - they are super fun! Do you have pictures posted anywhere?

Lovin all the mini figs in the junk yard!
Thanks! They definitely make things come alive! 😁
A good tall rock formation would be good, break up the flat terrain, maybe even a roadrunner/coyote chase through the desert...
I like Dan Smiths suggestions. Its lookin great!
the cops need doughnuts lol
Me too! And yea, I'll get on that haha
This looks so so cool!!
Thanks! It's really turning out good so far!

@@mybricksandme6152 Wooo!!!! Can’t wait to see it develop! It already looks amazing!!!!
Oh, and also doing MILS for the baseplates would make it easier to add texture by adding the ability to raise and lower terrain.
