In this video I share with you the unboxing of my new JUKI HZL- LB5020 computerized sewing machine. I purchased this machine to use during my WIP Wednesday live chats because it's lightweight, portable and a little workhorse!
This overview video includes what comes in the box with your new sewing machine.
This is a great beginner friendly and lower budget sewing machine that can grow with you! If you have another machine this is a great second machine option for taking to classes, RV travel and retreats.

This looks like a nice machine. I wanted a Juki machine so badly, but the closest Juki dealer/maintenance is 2 hours drive away from my home in Maine. I bought a Janome machine, which I like very much, but still dream of a Juki DX5 or DX7.
What is a Janome machine can you send a picture of it
@@natashajohnson4848 Janome is an internationally recognized manufacturer of very high quality sewing machines. Most every quilter/sewist I know owns one! If you go to their website Janome.com you may find a dealer near you.

I wish manufacturers would stop using that polystyrene packaging as it is not recycled it has to go to landfill in OZ. There's an alternative of compressed cardboard which is a recyclable product. But I think that we consumers need to demand it. 👍🙏🚮🚮♻️♻️

Will this machine sew 6 layers of flannel I make rag quilts
Looks small.and very lite weight.
Does the presser foot rise extra high for thick layers? I want to be able to make bags and I know some machines cant handle all the layers

You’re not. All the manuals tell you the other way but I like to put it in that way. 🤷🏽♀️🤣😂
