Agree totally, I think Poch just does not have the ability to get the formation or team correct. This has caused certain players to be criticised as not Chelsea quality, Enzo and Caicedo in particular. I really think the way forward is being blocked by Poch staying. There are certainly several players who need loaning or selling but this would be the next managers decision..or it should be.
So you are saying that Pochetino, who makes living out of managing football teams, doesn't know how to manage the football team and how to choose formations. So he and his assistants are useles, but Chelsea fans are so smart they know and can do everything 🤭

Nobody likes to lose 5-0, but it can happen to good teams sometimes. Remember Chelsea putting 6 past Arsenal in Wenger's 1000th game, or Ferguson's Man U shipping 6 at Old Trafford, or Liverpool losing by 7 to Villa a couple of seasons ago? Maybe Poch needs to go, but a constant sense of crisis does not help any team. The forced instant sale of Chelsea destabilised the club massively. The new ownership aren't going away any time soon, so maybe backing them and the team and hoping that they get it right eventually might be more constructive.

Going back to Chelsea, you are right, owners not going to change their plans easily after spending billion. Nearly all team should be replaced to be able to compete. But it is not going to happen. @@atiwatope It is possible to get Inzaghi in the summer, even if he is the only major signing of the summer we make, we already have good enough squad for him to manage, we only need to sell or loan out players like Mudryk, Noni and Gallagher. We are still a big club and we have the huge funds to attract any big manager, we just have to offer Inzaghi a lot of money and give him the support he needs, I am sure he would like the profile of players we currently have as in like for like with Inter Milan, which would suit his 3-5-2 system, as highlighted above.

Poch is right about one thing.. The directors need to be ruthless... Ruthless to sack him! We bought talented players that many teams were interested in. If our manager can't use these players then get another.. Those players have a longer contract than him at the end of the day.. Get him out ASAP because many top managers are available in the summer.. I'd take RDZ because he knows the PL, Caicedo and Mudryk. I believe his backroom staff is responsible for all our injuries or maybe his training style. If we can't have a team fit to play PL what will happen with our eventual UCL fixtures??

Amorium is the same age as Thiago silva ,its his first big club job and it's the toughest job possible . He has only won things in the Portugal league , I dont want to hate on him but he didn't even won europa . The next manager has to be very experienced throwing amorium under the bus would be unwise in my opinion . There is more chances of it going wrong than right.

I'm 100% with you Alex. I believe if Tuchel remained, this team could have still been in top 4 conversation despite all the injuries.
Just look back at the games we drew or lost from winning positions, there were no real overpowering effort from the opponent but complacency from Chelsea as a team.

I think there are multiple serious issues:
1) Our injury list all season has been insane. If we had James, Nkunku, and several others fit more than injured, would the season have gone very differently? I think the answer is yes. I think Chelsea would have been top 6. And, to be frank, I think it's a little unfair to say with any certainty that the season would not have been good if we had these players.
That said, I'm not sure Palmer would have bloomed as he has, and I think the long-term benefit of him having the season he's had is immense.
2) Clearly, there are too many players with serious deficiencies who we've been relying on (I know this is related to #1, but needs to be spelled out). Jackson can't finish for his life, and many games would have been different if he could. Badiashile, Disasi, Cucurella, and Chalobah are FAR too prone to making critical errors at the back - should not be starters, at the least. Mudryk is ... we've all seen it and said it. So, each of them can take some blame, but the big blame has to be putting on the sporting directors (insane even that we have two). They also screwed up, imho, by getting rid of Pulisic, not getting Lukaku back for this season, and other things.
3) I've seen some good from Poch, but I've also been baffled by his lineup choices and subs at times. The fact that so many of us see the same things and he doesn't makes me seriously wonder. I also don't see him as being a good communicator (critical role in his job) and or having the right strategy for our team. I do think he's done some good things (given good support to players, been a bit more consistent with who is playing where and thus given the team time to gel, provided the opportunity for Palmer, Gusto, and some others to bloom and shine), but overall, need a better manager.
Just one of those things is a major issue. With all three of them together, I think we should actually be grateful we're in the position we're in this year, and have a LOT more hope for next season.
Alex you're really the guru when it comes to Chelsea related football issues and your exxplcit and spot-on analysis has made me a regular at the Kavkas View.

Nah i would actually love us to get in europa confrence league. Would be a great experience for the team. We have to be real and accept that kids will make mistakes and they are still developing their character and personalities. Im happy to give them a couple of seasons to become a top team as long as there is progress in the development of the players and the teams position in the league. Europa League is too much for these boys the results may destroy their confidence but confrence i think is a good level for this team to get to quarters or semis.

Take a look at how the former Chelsea young players are thriving in different leagues, not to mention even Fofana.
Mudryk for instance is a good player who needs a coach that'll nurture him well and the rest of the team.
Poch's strategies are just futile following his player selection and formation.Besides if Poch was really involved during the transfer window, then he should work with what he has.

People criticise Sterling coz he can’t control the ball or pass!! Granted there are lots of issues with Poch’s coaching, halftime team talks, substitutions and hopeless Press Conferences. Pochettino was brought in by the board to nurture this talented young and inexperienced group of players to be the best they can atleast be because he was known for nurturing young and inexperienced players.
