I love your version and am working on your lesson presently. I've just picked the guitar again after taking about 10 years off so am excited to begin going through your lesson material. Thank you very much for the video and lesson content.
This is a swell lesson. I have been working with this on and off for some time. Every time I think it is too difficult, I surprise myself and learn a new part. 😉
Thanks for this , I'm. Working on it and it's just so clear and straight forward , I think I'll buy the chord solo course soon . I read about your gear and section on it ,but what is the amp your playing please on all the videos , I can see it in some of them in the background ,,Fender twin reverb solid state ? Not tube right ? Such a beautiful tone
I really love your "Autumn Leaves",specially your solo that fits my ability to play. Do you have "Black Orpheus", and "Take the A Train" in same level or nealy levels?
great. good job. I try to practice on your video. but I don't understand why you play C sharp at bar 52-53 to help me. what did you think? which scale or arpeggio?
Hi Chris, the Dorian sixth on Em7 is the result of the chromatic voice leading that starts on bar 50. E goes to D# at the end of bar 50, goes to D at the end of bar 51, to C# a the end of bar 52, and finally to C in bar 54.
Over the B7 chord in the melody I see C#. It looks like melody uses Melodic Minor. Is that correct? Would be melodic minor an option for improvisation? Thx
I'm following your lesson, while I can finally do the chord changes at the song bpm, it's still not as clean as yours. I just had my first guitar for about a week now.
Hey Andy, this guitar is an Epiphone ES-175 Premium. I'm playing through a Fender George Benson Hot Rod Deluxe with a TC Electronic Hall of Fame 2 Reverb.
@@JazzGuitarOnline I bought a reverb but not that specific model. Do you have any tips on how to get it to this tone? I have a telecaster going into a small washburn amp.
@@brew8533 If you have a tele with single coil pickups its going to sound different (NOT BAD at all) but it will be twangy in sound. This guitar is using some humbuckers which will sound different to single coil pickups. Then there are P90 pickups that sound like fuller single coil pickups but you don't typically see them on hollowbody guitars due to microphonics. What matters is that you get your own sound that you like. Guitars are like cars with all their engine types, hp, etc. Find what you like and work with that. But the most important part of the equation is the player and their skill. I can make my JCM 2000 Marshall halfstack sound like a 10 dollar amp easily. Especially back in my nooby years of cranking everything to max, from effects, to gain, and distortion. Sometimes less is more. *edit* Also play with your pickup selector and volume/tone knobs. You gotta practice dialing in the tone.

Thank you sir, about the amp. I just checked the price and its way out of my budget. Could you recommend me another amp that is maybe easier to get? I like usually playing clean sound and love reverb. Best greetings

You're right, in most of my recent videos I play the Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb. On this video I play a Fender George Benson Hot Rod Deluxe.
I was wondering what gage strings and brand you use? thanks for the video 🎼🫶🎼
I use the Thomastik JS112 Jazz Swing set, going from 0.012 to 0.050

Now we need a lesson for Limelight!
What is that guiatar brand/model
Hi Alberto, here I play an Epiphone Es-175
which type of video camera are you using with the lens?
Hi, it's a Canon Legria Mini X
Loves this. Is that an Ibanez 2355 you're playing? It's a beauty!
Thanks Kevin, it's an Epiphone ES-175 Premium, great guitar for a low price!
@@JazzGuitarOnline What year Epiphone ES-175 Premium? The finish looks matte, which I really like!
Backing track ?

Is G major a common Key for this? It seems I have seen it more in G minor or E minor?
Hi Frank, this version is in E minor (the relative minor of G major). G minor (the relative minor of Bb major) is very common as well.
I'm following your lesson, while I can finally do the chord changes at the song bpm, it's still not as clean as yours. I just had my first guitar for about a week now.
