emperorhameed - Seriously? Envy started an entire Civil War which resulted in many deaths, including the massacre of Ishbalans. That led to the creation of Scar and the deaths of Winry's parents. He also brutally murdered Maes Hughes and tormented Marco. Envy also played a major role in making the aftermath of Leor much worse and almost another massacre. Envy was a pure sadist who always enjoyed knocking down dominoes which led to more tragedy. It is likely that is only the start of the list of crimes he was responsible for. He probably did plenty of other killings or fun. Watching Mustang roast Envy alive was well deserved and satisfying. It was also satisfying seeing Marco destroy Envy the first time as well. Seeing Envy get a taste of karmic medicine was easily one of the best scenes of the show that was worth waiting for. As Marco lampshaded, Envy didn't enjoy it so much when the tables were turned.
Envy is the only one that really, i don't want to say regretted, what they did, but fully understood the reasoning as to why they did it, and how unfair it was. Light's death was anticipated...but not satisfying. It was quite sad to see him delve into the darkness from the beginning. And it was frustrating for sure to witness him killing innocents and, for many fans, our favorite character, L. As much I was rooting for L to live and stop him, the same goes for Light's escape from his inevitable doom...But... it was fitting for both of them to die I guess...
Light was an amazing character, but I do understand why people find his death satisfying. I hated seeing him die as he is my favourite character but I understood that he had to die to show good overcomes evil.

Death Note wasn't satisfying at all. No one likes that ending. Had L been the one to cause his end that would be a different story. But because some kid who isn't even introduced until the final 10 episodes gets it, it's incredibly underwhelming

Javon Williams Kid Buu only shows up near the end though. And Frieza was washed up way before he died so when Trunks finally killed him it weren't as satisfying as seeing Gohan kill Cell.
Nah, neither Cell nor Buu were as evil as Frieza. Cell was manipulative, like toying around with Vegeta and Trunks, then going out of his way to crush 16 just to piss off Gohan. And Buu was more chaotic, not evil. He wasn't doing what he was doing because he felt like he was better, stronger, and worth more than those he destroyed. He was just created to destroy, similar to Cell. Frieza was pure evil. He had no redeeming qualities. He subjugated millions of species on countless planets. He killed Vegeta after he was already incapacitated. He murdered Krillin in the most brutal way just because. Cell's death may have been cooler, what with SSJ2 Gohan's one-handed Kamehameha, but Frieza's death was much more satisfying.
Envy getting the taste of Mustang's fire was far more satisfying than Lust's death even if it didn't end up in death lol. From watching the original FMA and FMAB, Lust actually had something about her character while Envy was just flat out fucking annoying and stale.
In my opinion Light's dead is not a satisfying one. At least 1/3 of the people who watched Death Note agree Kira so... that's not much appropiate. In fact Death Note would be the best anime ever if Light and L wouldn't have dyed, and instead of them, all Nippon police.

And less than halfway through the series he starts killing off good (sometimes innocent) people as well! How could anyone agree with that?! Why would you save someone's life that has taken with him many more lifes and prolly that he will keep killing (considering, for example, raping is destroying someone's life, equally to a murder)? What makes a person are his past, his emotions, his ideals and his objectives (in my opinion); if there's someone who get's in the middle of your path making impossible for you to keep on progressing with your objectives in life, wouldn't you consider removing that annoyance from your path if you could? Even if that's someone close to you, if he's incompatible with your objective the only way to achieve what you purpose is to remove him. I know you may think "ohh, how psychedelic", this guy is "crazy". However, consider why do you keep alive? Why? I prefer Cell's death over Freiza's. The image of him slowly being vaporized while screaming in defeat with the very fitting music from Bruce Faulconer was all just too perfect. And boy did he deserve it, I still remember Cell powering up for the first time after he absorbed all those innocent people, you could see their tortured faces in his aura. I can't mention it without the strong desire to go watch him die again.

It was satisfying yet sad when L died. Like, Light had wanted to kill L from the beginning. L's character was amazing and you feel sad for losing him, but still satisfied that the story can go on without worrying about L.

Light's death was anticipated...but not satisfying. It was quite sad to see him delve into the darkness from the beginning. And it was frustrating for sure to witness him killing innocents and, for many fans, our favorite character, L. As much I was rooting for L to live and stop him, the same goes for Light's escape from his inevitable doom...But... it was fitting for both of them to die I guess...

Nah, neither Cell nor Buu were as evil as Frieza. Cell was manipulative, like toying around with Vegeta and Trunks, then going out of his way to crush 16 just to piss off Gohan. And Buu was more chaotic, not evil. He wasn't doing what he was doing because he felt like he was better, stronger, and worth more than those he destroyed. He was just created to destroy, similar to Cell. Frieza was pure evil. He had no redeeming qualities. He subjugated millions of species on countless planets. He killed Vegeta after he was already incapacitated. He murdered Krillin in the most brutal way just because. Cell's death may have been cooler, what with SSJ2 Gohan's one-handed Kamehameha, but Frieza's death was much more satisfying.

See, this is what creeps me out about some Death Note fans. Why would anyone agree with Light??! Sure, his ideals in the beginning were understandable sure. But his methods never were. And less than halfway through the series he starts killing off good (sometimes innocent) people as well! How could anyone agree with that?! And not only that, he also killed his own father and was plotting to kill his sister merely because he was afraid they MIGHT suspect the truth!! In the end, his dad didn't know anything about Light being Kira anyway!

What makes a person are his past, his emotions, his ideals and his objectives (in my opinion); if there's someone who get's in the middle of your path making impossible for you to keep on progressing with your objectives in life, wouldn't you consider removing that annoyance from your path if you could? Even if that's someone close to you, if he's incompatible with your objective the only way to achieve what you purpose is to remove him.

It was satisfying yet sad when L died. Like, Light had wanted to kill L from the beginning. L's character was amazing and you feel sad for losing him, but still satisfied that the story can go on without worrying about L.

Actually, I felt sorry for Seryu. She was fighting for the wrong side, and she lost her parents at an early age. She went insane because of it. If anything, the scumbags from Wild Hunt (especially Syura) were a million times worse.
I mean, I did too. Sure, her death was super satisfying but obviously, I still feel remorse for her.
