Great ride as always! Now to improve that enjoyment considered 45mm Schwable G one Rs or 47mm Specialized Pro Slicks and you will not lose speed but will gain comfort and speed with low pressure. In USA we are on mountain bike tires for gravel 🤙
I am on the fence about gravel but this ride looked super fun and great way to mix it up sometimes. Those guys definitely kept it interesting with the route selection, kudos to them.
Yeah gravel can be fun just depends where you ride. In Finland where I live there are some forest tracks that are used for Xcountry Skiing and those are a blast to ride. Fast downhills and crazy steep short punchy climbs in succession it's a blast to ride.
@@TheCyclingTattooistI grew up doing BMX and I find mountain biking just as much fun. It’s definitely scary at first, but you get used to it and gain some skills and suddenly it’s the most fun you can have on a bike.
I had a Giant Revolt for a while. Loved the ride quality but the appearance didn't sit right with me. Built up a consumer direct BXT gravel bike next. Lovely thing. I notice you wearing arm warmers. Only plus 20?😊😊😊
@TheCyclingTattooist top guys are all in skinsuits with integrated hydration bladders and it's impossible to place high without a sag crew at aid stations. spirit of gravel is dead and buried.
Looks a bit high tempo for a gravel ride - did look a lot of fun though… the spirit of gravel requires a bit more chill riding - otherwise it’s just off-road road riding 👍
White kit on gravel, I admire the dedication 😂 excellent video, I love the Portuguese work life balance.
Don’t know what I was thinking! Ruined my bibs now… 😭
This looked like a blast….more gravel not less!!!
It was definitely fun… just not as fun as bmx! 🤣👍
You smashed it Thomas! That bike was cleannnnn
It’s a beauty aye… 😁🙌

Yeah I like the idea of bigger tyres for sure… more confidence inspiring! 🙌
皆が陽気で、笑い、笑い、走り、走る。とても元気が出る、ありがとう!私も日本のグラベルを楽しんでいます。
Looks like fun ride, especially with crew like you guys.
Need to try them gravel bikes!
Cheers!
Yeah top group… bunch of savages!
@TheCyclingTattooist 🤘🔥
Great episode!! Enjoying so much these episodes in Portugal.
🥰🙏🙏🙏
You’re an absolute missile Tom! That would be a respectable pace on the road 😬

Yeah it’s fun… buts it’s just not for me! As I said I get my fitness from the road and my fun from bmx… so gravel is a bit of a nothing burger for me!
That was awesome
🥰🙏
I wish i had smooth gravel like this around here.
Yeah the smooth fast but were definitely fun…
Great video, I am gravel rider in north east England but enjoy your videos, keep one foot in gravel just for the fun of it

Great video!
🙏🙏🙏
Great video , I am a gravel rider in north east England where it should be called bridle bashing! Keep one foot in gravel just for the fun of it ,
lush paintjob on the Giant revolt
Yeah was stunning… even better in person! 😍
Fun = Dangerous 😂😂
Some bits were wild…
I’m kind of shocked you haven’t tried mountain biking at this point
I’m not sure I can bring myself to do it… 😅

2 bike garage: lightweight road bike & E-gravel bike with full mounts
next time you come back to LA, we gotta MTB 👀 lol
I’m not sure I’m ready to go full MTB 🤣
Let`s put it down: You are a roadie!
That hurt my soul… 🤣
I love my revolt,a few upgrades on it make for a nippy bike,
I do like that paint job tho…
Yeah really was a great bike… 🙌
Are you being sarcastic!!!! Fricken funny. Tore that apart, nice work.
😅😅😅
What is Dave helmet name ?
Not sure… hopefully he’ll see this and comment! 😁👍
@TheCyclingTattooist I've got same as your but it's quite massive, you know 😆 👍
Oh really… can’t say I’ve noticed it being massive. But then I did come from a poc and they are huge! 🤣

Oh really… I thought it was a stunning looking thing, I don’t know a lot about gravel, but to me it seemed like a beauty…
You should ride in an aero helmet when you're on these fast group rides. You'd save a lot of watts.
Not really the “spirit of gravel” though is it… 🤣
@TheCyclingTattooist top guys are all in skinsuits with integrated hydration bladders and it's impossible to place high without a sag crew at aid stations. spirit of gravel is dead and buried.
But I’m not a pro nor am I competing… so I couldn’t care less about a few watts saved on a gravel ride to be honest! 😅
more gravel would bring you much more audience - just saying
No amount of audience is worth that torture… 🤣

A bit high tempo for my skill set I think… definitely more interested in a more cafe ride type gravel ride! 😁🙌
