Thank You for this Video .
Thanks for sharing your tips there. The last weather report I have seen looks like we may have a warmer January's and February.
No problem! We shall see! haha
Good stuff Capt. Keep em coming.
More to come!
Thanks for the video. You know your stuff. What’s the name of that bib you’re wearing; gotta get me one.
Thanks for the great content. Will this work on an incoming tide?
Yes it will but I would locate on the other end of the pass or bayou where the water is coming from deep pushing into a shallow bay or lake with oysters
Captain Charlie. What would a general rule be for a redfish fishing rig for Bayou Bienvenue.
Rod length, power, spinning reel size, line size etc.?
Captain Charlie, have you noticed the trout havent moved into those deep spots like they have in years past? I think the warmer weather has them in limbo
Yes this is true but during the cold snaps they will show up!!
Catching fish in winter is easy if U can find clear water. Cop Cop Smith Hopedale icon for 70 years sai let me pick day and we will have a good trip. U are not going to catch in dirty water unless there is abundance of bait in that area. The ponds or full of grass that will filter the water and this clear water will mix on falling tide. Most time looks black clear and brown dirty. A trick we learned in many years of fishing if U can see the motor prop clearly start fishing. Now with a white trolling motor U can in time know what water is best just looking down at trolling motor base.
What set up rod & reel are using today ?
