This bike is going to break faster than a toy from Aliexpress. Seeing how the frame falls apart (and Reevo doesn't give a fuck uploading the video anyways) should raise a huge red flag for the backers of this project. Do not put your life at risk...
This question is for all those who may be considering investing in this project. Ask yourself, if hubless spoke bikes are such a great idea, why haven't the major bike manufacturers brought one to market already?
That is primarily due to no real demand. If people really wanted wheels with no spokes, companies would find a way to make a good one. But most people just don't care.
Spokeless wheels is not a bad idea. If companies were willing to take a little risk and there was a market for this sort of this. This could be a really cool thing.
@@MindOfRohan exactly, but the thing is this kind of thing doesn't really improve anything other than looks, which is probably why most companies won't risk investing in this
@@SXsoft99 if you're using plastic flexing as suspension i would like to suggest that you stop for your own good, it won't be pretty when you find out why
Yeah the bike is a pile of shit, but can we talk about the rider? He comes in with fully rigid arms and legs, heels not dropped at all, with all his weight on the front tire. And in the middle of the stairs he switches from death grips to 2 finger braking🤣 Couldn't you find someone who can at least ride a damn bike?
I have been bunny hopping into stairs for the last 20 years and I have no idea wtf your heel drop shit is all about. On top of that I ride 20 inch. Anything bigger than that and you can just ride down, its the transition from the stairs to the flat that you have to be ready for.
@@SamanthaTheyThem you press your heels downward on the pedal, gives you more control and grip on the pedal. i also might add that he placed the middle of his foot on the pedal, didnt bend his legs (ok, thats probably cause the saddle is way to high for downhill) and didnt flex his arms. hes not riding the bike, the bike is riding him...

The wheels are not made for this type of activity. Take a closer look at the video, and you’ll see pieces of the wheels flying off. A real, fully hubless bike made for this kind of activity must have rubber tires. Otherwise, there’s no shock absorption, and the wheels will easily break apart, even if it’s just for riding off a raised curb. One stair step is all it takes for airless tires to break. Also, this bike must actually be R&D’d in the United States for it to be authentic. I can tell everyone right now that it is not. Heck, only five staff members are actually a part of the team. The rest are not. Do some LinkedIn research on the staff and the companies (both Reevo Bikes and Beno Technologies). You might be shocked at the results.
Two questions for the "creators": 1. Have you submitted a pre-production model for independent testing by one of the cycling magazines? (GCN, Velo News, Bicycling etc) 2. If not? Why not?
@@djsubculture2786 you can see parts flying off in the video, this isn't nearly ready and they shouldn't have even released this video with bow bad it makes them look. You might argue that most people don't go down stairs, but potholes or cobbles are just as much stress
It’s hard to detail without literal screenshots of the artifacts, which can’t be done in comments here. The beauty of spokes on film is you can easily make them appear invisible with speed, softening and frame rate manipulation. Not saying this is vapor ware, but there have been other companies that have tried (unsuccessfully) to bring a hub/spoke less bike to the market and no one has done it because, spokes and hubs work. I won’t call out the previous failed brands, but it’s worth a google then spend time in bike forums or Reddit for so many examples of where others have edited out hubs and spokes. Again, not saying this is like those, but until you see a real world review/hands on video from someone not affiliated with the company, it’s worth having a healthy dose of skepticism. If the want to prove doubters wrong, they’d have demo bikes on the top biking RUclips channels.
