Totally agree, HSS means High Speed Steel after all. Lower speeds work for larger bits (11mm +) mainly reducing the risk of the bit grabbing and snapping.
I can't see at all how this does ANYTHING. Can anyone explain? It's attached to the frame on the bottom and a floating insert, then nothing on the long bolts that go into the frame on the side. What am I missing? If they're "alignment pins", what if stiffining the frame? It's still flexing
Nothing, he explains it. In the event the original mount fails the bracket prevents it from hard failing. It’s like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound but at least it’ll hopefully prevent you from completely losing control.
Can believe you doing recall on car from a recession era😂
For safety issues they do it. They did it for air bags on old vehicles too.
I now use for ya but on a daily basis.
Where are those 2 bolts going? Can you see them on the other side? What’s stopping water from collecting in the bottom now that it has 2 holes
On a bit that small speed 2 would not be a bad idea.

Why is it any of your concern? Is that your car?

Interesting, a recall on a 17-year-old CR-V.
