Лучший в Большом театре. Это определенная эпоха и стиль. И ещё отмечу, как человек, дважды бравший у него интервью, Руслан совершенно без звёздной болезни. Воспитанный и адекватный.
В отличие от законченного нарцисса Цискаридзе. Такого самовлюблённого эгоцентриста, считающего себя на вершине мира, вообще больше нет, он уникален. Да, талантлив, но не уникален и не идеален в танце, только распиарен собственными непомерными усилиями! Руслан настолько приятный человек, умный воспитанный, интеллигентный, красивый! На мой взгляд лучший премьер Большого нашего времени.

Thank you. Yes indeed! But hopefully Skvortsov and others will uphold the beautiful Bolshoi tradition and pass it on to the future generation. A previous comment was made in which I learned that Skvortsov coaches David Motta Soares - an outstanding new talent at the Bolshoi.

What!?This is such terrible news. He was one of the best Russian male dancers. His dance was so refined, smooth and elegant. What an artist he is/was. He will be missed.😔
He has not vanished to the blue; the Bolshoi site says he is now on a stand-in position and no longer in-house, but that doesn't mean he had retired altogether. And he shouldn't either, being in a great shape. I was lucky to see him last season when he was called to substitute for David Hallberg with just a couple of hours' notice, and it turned out to be one of the finest 'Giselles' I've ever seen

It’s so interesting to see retrospective videos of dancers to see how they evolve. I’m not really familiar with this danseur.....he has fantastically long legs and some gorgeous jumps. But he had real problems stopping his momentum when turning a few rotations quickly and landing on one leg, and often on both legs. I saw it in the first, and it was still marked in the last, when he landed on both legs. Strange for a danseur of his caliber, but the rest of his work is truly wonderful.

Watching again, fascinated by Skvortsov's incredible, almost superhuman abilities. He was magnificent in all of the clips, but my favorites were the scenes from "The Pharaoh's Daughter," which is so seldom performed. If the information on Wiki is correct, he's only 44; what is he doing now?
Couldn't agree more! Skvortsov is still working for the Bolshoi Ballet “under contract”. He performs some character roles. In addition, he has been an excellent coach for younger stars.
He became a coach at the Bolshoi for a time and as far as I know he is still performing character roles with the Bolshoi Ballet. Thanks for your interest.
What pity - Rusland has retired from principal of Bolshoi! I saw him in Le Corsaire in early 2010s at Kennedy Center. Is it too short of time as principal only 11 years?
He working at the theatre 22 years yet. Usually when you work 20 years already, you have right to go to pension. For example, if you work after academy, since 18 years, in 38 you become pensioner yet. Tsiskaridze finished at the age 39.
