Thanks, Sean! Great review. I picked up a pair of the T2s based on your review last Fall, and wore them everywhere. I may pick up a pair of these (and a pair of the T1s!). Thanks for the heads up on the tapered fit, I will have to see how they work with my calves.
Hey Paul! So glad the T2s treated you well. The tapered fit on these is a challenge to the calves for sure! LOL. But other than that, they are really great. I am actually going to order a few more pair just to make sure I wont run out of them with laundry and such :)
Good question! I would opt for these. My Tiburons keep finding themselves in the clothes drawer after these cane in. I love Kuhl tencel / merino shirts. But you may like an even lighter weight merino poly mix. Outdoor Vitals has some good ones. I have some Mammut shirts that just came in as well. They seem light and still have some merino.
Truewerk makes solid stuff. How are the Tier 1 pants in summer heat?....any plans to review the Prana stretch zion pants (type 1) and the Prana stretch zion shorts? thanks
Hey! We love the Prana Stetch Zion pants as well. Ryan did a write-up on them (and other pants) in this article - engearment.com/gear-review/the-ultimate-adventure-pants-prana-stretch-zion/
Hey bro, have you ever thought of reviewing the Tactical Utility Pant from Ten Thousand? I just got a pair and putting them to use today on a hike but I’d like to hear your take on it.
Hey Bro! You know, I did not even see that until you mentioned it. Ten Thousand literally just reached out this afternoon. I will ask them if we can get a pair of those going. Great idea, my friend! Also, let us know what you think of them. I am all for learning from you and the other viewers how you use gear, what you like about it, and what you think could be better. Take care!
I own 4 pair. Love mine, super flexible. Only 1 inseam 32”. My dark earth pair seem to be about 1” shorter than the blue grey pair. Be careful drying. They do have a cotton blend and will shrink!
@@ADyess086 thanks bro, I got my first pair in navy and love them. Thanks for the advice, I typically just hang dry any of my clothes that are a cotton/elastic type blend to avoid any shrinking. I wanted a technical pant that I could use on my hikes as well as wear to the office on rainy days (DWR treatment). They’re form fitting but not too slim. IMHO, the perfect pant for most occasions if you’re an active guy. Definitely will be getting more pairs soon and I’m reaching out to them as we speak to see when they restock next. FYI, I got the 31” inseam as well and they’re perfect for me since I’m only 5’7.” They should do better to accommodate taller people tho because it is a great pant.
