  • Imagine your baby gets injured in the delivery room due to medical malpractice. The state promises you a lifetime of care, only to find out years later, the fund for that care is running out of money. CBS New York investigative reporter Mahsa Saeidi is asking the state how they plan to keep that promise.

Great job @CBSNewYork for shedding light on such an important issue affecting families; it’s clear that even in tough situations, laughter is still the best medicine - too bad we can’t prescribe it in New York healthcare plans!

You know very well that this is because of the migrants. So children who are legally entitled to this fund because of injuries they sustained during their births, are going to have their medical care taken away because of migrants. Every parent must sue the state AKA The indemnity fund. And if the negligent aka guilty hospitals stop funding that's their problem, the state better find that money elsewhere I hope every affected member and parent knows about this and sues.
