    By hedging do you mean buy and sell on the same instrument to make money and sell/or buy as needed? - Would there be a reason for this ie whats the advantage. And as far as the backtesting software - I was looking into nakedmarkets myself; do you find any disadvantages when using this as compared to ft5? ...

      1. Yes, buying and selling at the same time. There are many benefits to hedging, but the biggest one is is it puts you in control of when you take a loss.
      2. NM is light years beyond FT. If you haven't seen the video watch it here: ruclips.net/video/5wx7ehDGnV0/видео.html

    Do you always do analysis and trade within MT5 desktop app?

    • @TradingHeroes
      @TradingHeroes  Год назад

      Not always. I prefer TradingView, but it just depends which broker I'm using.

    Thats really good to do almost 6% in 9 days. Most wish they can do that in a month. Would you ever consider doing mentorships?

      Open a demo account. It's free and allows you to see how things work. For starters, dealing desk brokers don't charge a commission 😉

    Were you using 2 accounts to be able to hedge in this example?

    • @TradingHeroes
      @TradingHeroes  Год назад +2

      Just one account. This is backtesting software, so it allows hedging.

      I don't think it could be automated. Maybe partially automated.

    In this example were you using any leverage? And what lot size were you trading? I am finding it hard to understand why you couldn't make more ROI. As in my head I see it as, if you used 2 accounts from the same broker. And had one that was responsible for buy orders and the other responsible for the sell orders. You open two trades up straight away that mirror each other and then when one of the orders is -10 pips the other order should be +10 pips, and so you close the first order at -10 pips and set the S/L for the second order at +10, and then set your take profit at +15 pips (for example). So you either ever only break even or make a profit, so if you had $500 in each account with crazy leverage and trading big lot sizes, I don't see why you couldn't make a lot more than 9%. Also, as soon as this trade is done it would then enter another straight away, as it is not relying on any entry requirements. I am a beginner, so it would be great if I could get a reply for why this wouldn't work.

      Try it out in demo or with simulation software. Then you'll see why I'm not risking more.
