Another great video from the Days Gone strategy advisor, you really could spend a long time doing this mission the conventional way. Thank you for posting my friend. 😊
Honestly Darryl, this mission used to be a pain for me purely because it was such a slow mission with all the bloody clues you were looking for. I'll never be looking for them again now though, lol.
An absolute pleasure Shawn, and no need to show multiple options for this one when there is a very elegant & simple solution to destroying this mission, lol.
Another confident and resource-saving style of play from you, in which you make full use of your experience. And it's fun to learn from you, as always. And as always, my thanks and much recognition.
Another great showcase of methods! It took me a few playthroughs to figure out I could just go directly through the roof and not bother with the tracking part of the mission and you don't need the keys. Now, my preferred method is before triggering the mission with Rikki I go through the roof of that building and plant some proximity bombs or mines (one to take out Red and the other to take out the marauder in the building with him). And sometimes I'll plant a couple more just for good measure ;-) Then, I trigger the mission and just go directly to that building, the bombs go off when you get near and they kill Red and the marauder, I go back in through the roof, easy peasy, collect Red's boots and I'm on my way! haha.
Some fantastic thinking there Violet. I was contemplating firing a Flashbang through the roof, then going in fast SAS style after it had gone off, but it would only stun Red Riley, so I decided not to bother, lol. I absolutely love your method though Violet, as it becomes one of the quickest missions ever, and very safe too. As always, thank you so much for watching.
Glad you showed this method, Boris. This is the option I use. It's so simple that I sit on the roof and fire a few residue bolts just to watch the fun. You can also drop a molotov down the hole before you go in, if you have one. I think the devs intended us to discover it. Anyway, job well done. P.S. Once you've completed the mission, you can go to the building with the keys; climb up without going through the doors, take out the marauders, and loot. Of course, that's counter productive if you're in a hurry.
Incredible Boris. I thought you were going straight to the main building to get the keys and bypass all the fighting at the start. What a revelation the hole in the roof. Wish I'd known this sooner. This is one of the first missions you get after arriving at lost lake and you don't have much in the way of decent weapons.
I like to go straight to the upper ledge where the machine gunner is after exiting the building, and setting a couple prox mines. Then play the mission as intended. You know when they spawn in from the cloud of smoke and fire. Then just go get the loot without exchanging rounds w them. Have you seen that a movie is being made? And a door just opened for a lil hope of dg2!?
I'm loving the though of a potential sequel finally being made, but it won't be for a few years yet. Would love to see the movie if it ever get's made.
@borislav247 was watching something from ps and bend 2 days ago they said they'd been working on a movie for a couple years already. And a few signs towards a dg2.. not in concrete yet but bend said " we've got some really cool shit" for bend fans. Rumors of a new syphon filter and dg2. I think Lisa would be the perfect protagonist for #2
@@Norcalchoom Lots of doors could open given that Bend Studio's latest game was cancelled. Let's hope we get a sequel or a remaster of Days Gone at the very least.
1:57 Whoa! Bc I'm a weirdo that has to explore everything along the way I've never actually seen some of these cutscenes bc I found Red Riley too soon/didn't follow the clues the first time. I'm guessing it'll be the easy way you show later. (EDIT: yep, my usual way is the quick way you show) The other day I did this mission approaching from a different direction than I typically do & stumbled upon the keys for the first time, blew my mind that all this time I'd been falling through the roof when I could have just nonchalantly walked in guns blazing 😁
I have to admit, I will never play this one out the way Bend Studio intended ever again. I just hate how long winded this one was with all the clues. The quick version, much more appealing, lol. Thank you as always for watching L8D.
Now that was easy ! You can't imagine how many times I've said to myself ; ' I wish I knew that before ' after watching your videos as you have a great solution to every problem. Totally ingenius. P.S. The beer stays cold outside but I might not be able to find it under the snow lol.
You need some flags to plant in the snow for the beers my friend, lol. Oh, and thank you for watching my friend. Wish I had taken the time to work this out earlier, as this mission is a really long one when playing normally.
Nice run Boris loved it what a bummer thow iv seen the hole in the roof but I though you still needed the keys to open the door to get out That's why you're the master of days gone I salute you Mr Boris 😀
Great trick on this mission. One funny thing I noticed is you need to collect the red boots as POK but the red boots stay on the body after you collect them!
Thanks for this great Video Boris. I have watched nearly all of your Videos and appreciated very much your approach and way how you describe your actions. Superb! Thanks for all your great work. 👍🏽💪🏽🙌🏽
Another great video Boris, I do remember this mission being a right pain, esp as some of the clues can glitch on the PC so you're looking all over the shop. Next time this way!
You're on your first ever playthrough!!, you lucky guy James. Savour every minute of this amazing game, and take the time to do all the side missions as well as the main ones. It's a slow burner at the start, but soooo worth it. Thank you for checking out my video, and I wish you all the best on your journey mate.
Lol, indeed INZ002, it's one of these missions that when you know an insanely easy method that destroys it, you never forget it. Thankfully now I know it, lol.
Thanks man!
This is radio free Oregon, the truth shall set you free!
Lol, indeed.
As always, only the best advice from you. Thank you for your work for us. Be healthy, don't get sick. Good luck.
And thank you as always Artur for your kind comments my friend.

Yes. I saw this in an earlier trailer, can't remember if it was game informer or a normal trailer but a fantastic method.
Thank you ZHG. Never seen that trailer unfortunately. I would have been doing this method long ago if I had known about it for sure, lol.

Hey Boris.. How are you doing? As always very nice vdo.
Thank you my friend, and I'm doing very well mate. Thank you for asking & I appreciate you watching MD.

You are right Allan, and this mission is so much more appealing given that that now, minimal weaponry is required.

For godsake I spent all that time searching . I could go through the roof 😂😂😂. Top vid as usual Boris
Lol, I felt the same way after discovering this Ian,.

Lol, who needs a chimney when the roofs are this badly made, lol.

Nice job Boris, yeah that’s a much simpler method to do this mission 😃👍🏻👍🏻 gg my friend
Thank you Shannon.
This game is awesome only picked it up last week, just done this mission.

10 outa 10
Thank you sir.
Blast it, buggery and damnation. I played this today and wished I knew about the hole in the roof as it’s not my favourite mission.
Lol, it's not my favorite mission either, but I like it a lot more now, lol.
Boris finds the easiest way to complete every mission and then gets lost driving around Lost lake camp😂😂😂
Lol, my directional sense is starting to get better Jonny.
@@borislav247 I know what you mean. I really missed mini map when playing on survival 2
Look at that, a speedrun strategy! Jk tho, this is the fastest and easiest way, cannot even call it a speedrun strategy, because how simple it is.

Someone should repair that roof!
Damn right mate, they never know who's going to drop down it, lol.
this is ps5 or pc beautiful graphics?
It's PS5 here mate, but it looks amazing on a PC too, especially if you have a high end one.
@ ps5 slim or ps5 original?
