I love mayte and still do, I love her for her strength specially since she went through a lot at a young age. And all the secrecy and gaslighting she and prince tried to do to cover up what was really going on between them always put a bad taste in my mouth. He groomed her to be like him and trained her to play games with the publics eye. Dance routine was a little too overt for the US Market, and most of the talented women associated with Prince were not supported by the broader entertainment industry because of their association with the " sexy" Prince " brand" and the independent anti commercial mindset that came with that.
