How much
Lots of questions. Does it fit into an existing hitch? Do the anchors come with the lift? Does the swing-away work with the chair mounted on it? Is there a model that can be hard-wired to the vehicle? It seems cumbersome to be plugging in and unplugging the power cord to the chair. does the power cord just dangle like that or is there a way to hang it so it doesn't eventually stretch and drag on the street? Cost?

How can I get just the platform. I have a lift but for my wheelchair uses a different platform.

Show me how to lock my hoveround teknigue xhd
1. Turn the controller on.
2. To lock, depress and hold the on/off button. After one second the
controller will beep. Release the on/off button. Move and hold the
joystick forward until the controller beeps. Move and hold the joystick
in reverse until the controller beeps. Release the joystick. There will be
a long beep that indicates the controller is locked.
3. To unlock, turn the control system on. The speed/response indicator
will be rippling up and down. Move and hold the joystick forward until
the controller beeps. Then move and hold the joystick in reverse until
the controller beeps. Release the joystick. There will be a long beep
that indicates the controller is unlocked.
If you get your cbair through medicare bover round will not cover anything tjat happens outdoors. Mexicare only approvez chair for indoor use. They use this to gat around servicinv you chair
After you've had the Hoveround for 15 months it's yours free and clear to do with what you please, indoors OR outdoors. After the factory warranty runs out there is no maintenance coverage anyway. Medicare doesn't cover maintenance on the chair, unless there's something I haven't learned in the 6 years I've had my Hoveround. The chair is a tough cookie to begin with so there is usually not much to worry about!

Can I stay seated in the hoveround while being transported?
No you can not.
I have the Hoveround power lift for my chair. It's mounted on a FORD van with a Class lll hitch and EXTRA heavy duty springs. Believe me, you would not WANT to ride in the chair while transporting it on the back of your vehicle!! Just out of curiosity, why would you want to do that anyway?
