Realistic... yet there was ghosting so much... defeats the purpose of realistic damage when you can drive through the carnage.

Tiametmarduk manor fucked up my strategy. I had to serve a Drive trough penalty but it serviced me everytime. That's why i was so far back :(

I remember playing Grand Prix 4 and always being amazed at how good the damage system was... here we are 15 years later, and it still has a better damage system than the F1 games of today. That's rather sad.
blame FOM, they really are annoying with their restrictions.
+Roggay47 i might be wrong , but i highly doubt FOM have anything to do with the crap damage system on F1 2016 online. That's just Codemasters being Codemasters.
President Kimi FOM impose very strict limitations to the damage model because the sponsors don't want to see their cars being portrayed destroyed and stupid things like that. Its the reason only the front wing and front wheels can be damaged. It is well documented afaik.
