I have a 1965 Ford F750 that I am working on now. Has about 40,000 original miles on it. Has a FT361 and the 285vo transmission. Strange shift pattern, but at least it has overdrive. Plan on using it to pull my gooseneck around the area. It was ordered by the Forestry Unit to pull a tanker. I love the older trucks like this.
Nice looking rig. Our dad drove one just like it back in the day. He hauled travel trailers with it. Flat bed behind the cab with a lowboy trailer. He could haul 2 or 3 at a time. 💕😉👍🏼
Ford built the C-cab for something like 30 years- I cut my teeth on a 1978 with a 5&2 with air brakes. It was (we thought) either an ex- Roadway or Yellow transport tractor my company used to deliver steel in-around town. Ugly, bare bones, rode like hell but you could not stop it.
The UK version of that truck in the 60's was a far tidier cleaner design, called the D series all with 330/360 cu in 6 cylinder and Perkins V8 170 bhp diesel engines
My company in the late 90s when I was a sprat and first started driving had one that was an ex-roadway unit. We used it for local p&d of pipe and steel around Denver. It was indeed ugly, bare bones, uncomfortable but the one we had was like a cockroach- it was next to invincible. It was still running when we sold it for a new freightliner that was in the shops 6mos later and every 3 mos after that
I spent some time looking through most of the inventory...finally found this beauty, only to find that it had already been sold. Asking price $15k. I would still like to know who bought it..can you put me in touch with them?
I never seen a Bobtail tractor-trailer with a gas V8. I thought they're all Diesel. But with V8 with good torque at low RPM and geared right low gears, that truck will move.
Great video. I love this truck. Question: I'm going to start a build series on this Ford c600 in 1/25th scale. May i use a screen shot or a few screenshots of certain unique items such as the fuel tanks, rear wheel covers, tow hitch? My channel is a learning channel and I am not monetize whatsoever. I would also steer my subscribers to your auction site and RUclips channel. Thanking you in advance and am at your service. Hope to hear from you soon. Florentino Mejia Anaheim , California
Like I told another person I owned one of these on RUclips no offense but we used to have a cat when I was a kid called fat cat in these trucks reminded me of him it was a cool thing fat cat truck the fat cat truck
Those things still hauled for Yellow back in the 90's in Atlantic City.

Can you use it legally for hauling? I mean, are old trucks allowed to work in US?

It would match my
company 's 1974 40ft 12 pin Strick container chassis. At that trl hauls is 2 m/t 20ft boxes. 22 mile round trip. Yard to rail/depot.

Hydraulic breaking 5 speed 2 speed rear dream truck
2 spd rear end?
Yes
nice
Here, gasoline consumption is probably 40 liters per 100 km, or maybe 30 liters. There is a hydro power steering amplifier, that's for sure
Gostei muito do amarelinho
Is it still for sale?
How much horsepower is there?
I’ll buy it
A tractor in that class! Rare?
No, Roadway Express ran tons of them nationwide, they were more common for other users out west in California and such.
I live in Connecticut we had a road way in our town that ran a few

Was this a old roadway truck
Here they thought about the comfort of the driver, in Soviet trucks there was almost no comfort
Ando en busca de uno aquí en cdmx
