대추차만 만들어주실 수 있어요? 저 한국 방문했을 때 너무 thick 대추차 마셔봤는데 그 맛을 아주 그리워합니다.
Can you share some more Korean tea recipe?? I really love Korea food!!!
Maangchi, that looks amazing! you always have wonderful recipe to share with us. I want to know how long will this tea mixture last before it turn bad?
Thanks in advance =)
You can refrigerate it up to 1 month, I guess just like ginger tea.
Lekker hoor, ik ben benieuwd waar je de volgende keer mee komt.
Hi @Maangchi I am fan from Malaysia & pregnant now and jujube tea really comforts me. I have been drinking the tea from the boiling for hours method. Unfortunately my country doesn’t sell fresh jujube.
Can I use dried? And if I am using dried jujube do I need to boil it first before cutting it and removing the seed? Before I mix it with honey to keep in the jar?
She used dried jujubes for this recipe. And the recipe link says you can use either fresh or dried ginseng, although I suppose it would be easier to infuse the tea if you crush or powder the ginseng beforehand if you're using dried ones.
Steaming the root and jujube make before grinding make it easier. Steam from 30 mns
Great recipe !!
the duct tape idea is genius!!
nice tea recipe, so yummy
Are u still in LA at RUclips space? It seem like u been there for awhile because most of your videos are recorded there.
thank you so much
Looks good!
Maangchi Yum yum yum!
hello :) Thank you for the recipe, I live in Korea now, and I have tried this tea before, very delicious. I want to send some for my mom, but it may take more than a week, will it be fine if it's not in the fridge for some time ? and one more question, if I make the tea with dried ginseng will it be the same ?
I think this mixture should be kept in the fridge. Yes, you can add dried ginseng but you should grind it finely. When I make ginseng jujube tea with dried ginseng, I boil them with lots of water for hours over low heat until the tea turns red with intense ginseng flavor.
+Maangchi thank you ^^
You are sooooo amazing!
Love Your Kitchen ! chowa!
Love it! Thanks!
How long does it keep without refrigerating? Want to give it to my mom as a gift for christmas but she lives far away so I have to take it with me on a ten hour road trip to get to her house.
That's a great gift idea for your mom. It will be ok up to 24 hours without refrigeration. Don't forget to take some honey and pine nuts. Good luck!
okay thank you!
I ll try it~~
Hi Maangchi, at the supermarket I can find a Korean citrus tea..could you show us how to make it?
oh, that's yujacha. Problem is that I can't find yuja easily.
WOOOOW
How long can i keep since there is no preservative inside?? Do i need to keep in fridge? thank you :)
Honey is a preservative.
You are Awesome!!!
Can I used dried? I have tons of dried ginseng and jejune at home
I have two questions that I want to ask you Maangchi. 1. Where can you find the Jujube? 2. Do have to put sugar in the tea or no?
Jujubes are sold in Korean grocery stores or in Chinese stores. www.maangchi.com/ingredient/jujubes
You can add some honey to your tea or skip it. It's up to you. Good luck!
Thank you Maangchi. I have more questions for you later. I love noodles very much that I never tried Korean Noodles before.
Cool
where can i buy a knife like yours!? the big one in the intro, really kick ass!
oh, that's from Korea. It's made of steel and very heavy. : )
Maangchi can i buy the same online?
Is the deachucha a kind of date? I live in saudia Arabia and there are other kinds. Can I use them instead?
Hi Maangchi, where can I buy those kind of ginseng?
Where do I find fresh ginseng root? I can only find the dried root in stores.
Mangchi, are you moving to LA?
Hi Susan, no, I'm still living in New York. I just visited RUclips LA space to work with them.
What is jujube? Is it like a cherry? Where can I get them?
It's sold at a Korean grocery store. www.maangchi.com/ingredient/jujubes
How long does that jar last for maangchi? And I am guessing it has to be stored in the fridge right?
yes, yes
=) can you please make the variation with the powder ginseng??
Where Can You Buy Real Ginseng ?? Bende ginseng almak istiyorum ama orjinali nerden satin alabilirim
아 너무 재밋어요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
U are soooooooo adorable
Can fresh jujube be used for this recipe?
Mangchi where can I get that fresh ginseng and jujube?
You can get it to any oriental super market. It's better to go to the stores that has everything on it
To those who are terrified of using the knife to pit the jujubes. I believe you can find jujubes that are seedless.
Haha, of course you like washi tape. Very cute usage!
can you please make a tea for stomach ache?
Maangchi can you use a blender to grind the jujube and ginseng?
Yes, but the bits will be a bit chunkier than using a food processor, remember to blend it finely as possible
can i know how long can i keep this if i didn't keep it inside the fridge?
Nice :)
