Merida has had constant construction for years and it’s not ending soon. In a few years, these small towns will connect. Eventually, there won’t be a lot of green between Merida & Progeso. Great video Cartess. 👍🏾
Its growing everywhere. Even in the US. I'm not thinking of moving there but it's still so interesting to see everything there. I do want to visit there again. I've been there once in 2020. The beaches were great. The people were great. My family had a great time there. When I come back I plan to let you know and meet up. You're a great guy and I'd love to meet you. Maybe I can plan for 2026. I'm making my dreams come true here in Texas at the moment. But once I retire at the end of this year, I still want to travel. It's so interesting to see how others live.
This is exactly where my family and I stayed when we visited Merida this spring. Tried to contact you and really wish we could have linked up in person
Hello Cartess, do you know, if you get your temporary residency, can you leave the country, or do you have to stay in the country for 4 years to get permanant residency?
You can come and go as you please during the 4 years. Once u near the four years, you get permanent. U don’t have to stay here consistently over four years.
I’ve researched that area. I would mind being out there, but need a car. I have car payments and would not be able to bring it into Mexico. I have a long ways to go before it’s paid off.😩
You’ll need a letter from your finance company. Make sure to check into that. And make sure to get Mexico insurance before leaving and crossing into Mexico
By far, more Méxicans are relocating to Merida than are migrants from Canada or the United States. Frankly, other than riding around; what is there to do in Merida?!

The Merida area is just booming! I've seen other areas with a lot of construction but not as much as there, wow.
Your videos are so informative and entertaining!! I love listening to you..
Glad you like them!
Prayfully I'll be there in September....
It's right around the corner... You'll make it happen.

Hopefully we connect next time
Mexico is going to be just like the U.S. Too expensive to live there in a couple of years.
The heat will run most folks outta here and balance things out
I have my eyes on a few additional countries. But Mexico is huge.👍

What car do you have? I have a Chevy and they said I can take the car with a car payment. Is this a Mexican rule?
@@arianaedwards6793 Since my car is financed I may not be able to take it out of the country.
