A lot of ppl are missing the Easter egg on the newspaper that floats by... The Mutant fashion show is the Hellfire Gala, which happens in the Krakoa era... That is HUGE, if you have been keeping up with the comics. The Krakoa era changed the X-Men's entire status quo... It changed EVERYTHING..
@@LynkCableTv so much more organic than the 3way that's recycled over and over. Plush Storms one of the very few people who can put Logan in his place. And the Tough guy/ Darlin thing, Come on. You can't get better than that
I'm loving this but I know I need to get used to the voices. Storm and Logan sound lower but it's also cool that's it's the same VA's from the 90's X-Men, so obviously their voices will sound different after 30 yrs 😊
Loved this trailer reaction bro as a Massive fan of the X-men this was a Pleasure to watch! This Show will be Top Tier! Cyclops is a badass and magneto is just written so well
I was 19 when this ended in '97 and 45 now lol I actually collected comics from 1989 to 2005 mostly ALL X titles and tons of image still have them in 8 huge boxes full. Peak superhero cartoon,The original voice actors are back except jubilee, magneto, and bishop but this should be great can't wait for a month
@@LynkCableTv Same. Love the regal accent! I just pray they don't have her faint after every exertion! I need her to summon the fully power of the hurricane! 🌀🌀🌀 😅
The way I see it, Cable is the son of Cyclops and The Goblin queen, and we know Cable exists in this universe so I think this series will cover the missing story, and if Cable exists and Bishop exist then Rachael must exist to. Obviously they might switch it up and change bits, but I can but hope.
I realised during my editing 😂 Cable is Madelyne’s child with Scott and Rachel is Jean’s with him. But they could always change it as Cable was already in the original cartoon :)
@@LynkCableTv that actually came during the Claremont run The reason why they are mutants is because they were too lazy to create origins for each power as admitted by them
Even back during the 60’s the X-Men have always represented marginalised groups, Prof. X and Magneto were based on Jewish leaders and even have similarities to Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, and when Claremont started writing the series he certainly introduced more LGBTQ elements into his work during the 70’s and onward (and wanted to do so much more like having Mystique being Nightcrawler’s father instead of his mother). But you are right regarding the superpowers part as it made it easier on Stan Lee to come up with origins (they have powers because they’re mutants, simple) but that doesn’t take away the fact of the subtext that exists within the X-Men and their stories.

What did you think of the X-MEN '97 Trailer and who is your favourite Mutant Character??
I’m torn between Wolverine and Cyclops as being my 2 favorites
As a Cyclops fan when he said (TO ME MY X-MEN I!!!) I cried I was a teenager again and finally got the X-MEN we deserve
Man I understand you, I’m the same
Grown men have been crying for the last two days. And I'm one of them. The theme music got us all.😂😂😂😂😂
Totally agree

Seeing many co-Xmen fans so happy with this trailer is so good to see!! ❤️✨❤️✨
This brings me back to childhood. Born in 81, this was prime storytelling food for the soul type of goodness.
Shoutout to OG watchers 🙌🏻 honestly can’t wait to relive more of my childhood through this show :)
Oh yeah the 90's X-Men are BACK IN ACTION!!!😁✊🏿 Hopefully we can say the same for the 90's Spider-Man too very soon.
It looks amazing dude I can’t wait for it
so excited for this series dude!
In all my childhood memories did not come to think they would bring back a new x-men animated series . This gonna be awesome i can't wait.
I really hope they explore the Storm Wolverine relationship 🤞
OMG YES! I’m a fan of them as a pairing 🤞🏻

Wall to wall classic references. And from the comics beyond the time of the show too.

Una de mis series animadas de mi niñez vuelve , es lo mejor❤❤🎉
i love how wolverine always argue with cyclops

I'm so hyped this series.
STORM! MISTRESS OF THE ELEMENTS!! ❤
Literally, Storm always gave me chills whenever she was on screen especially when controlling the elements 🙌🏻

The third video tape is "Days of future past" (DOFP)
Ohhh that’s such a great Easter egg! And makes a lot more sense than “DOFF” 😂
They did my girl rogue dirty
I gotta say I don't think it's Jean that's pregnant..... Maybe more like Madelyne Pryor 😱
If they give us that twist I will lose my mind! 🤯 Would be so cool if ‘97 is just more old stories of that era 🤩
I'm hoping that Rachel also appears in this series

Madelyne Pryor! baby Cable or baby Rachel?

Just hope it's not woke and they turn wolverine gay
X-Men has always been “woke”, the mutant allegory literally alludes to both prejudice and discrimination towards race and sexuality.
