My husband and I both got cancer at the same time while recovering I had a sudden urge to wear only white and paint our apartment green. When we got better I had the urge to repaint our home white. After a while that yearning for green came back, I started unconsciously dressing in white and craving silver accents and accessories - which as a lifetime gold wearer was odd. I found gold much too harsh. This coincidentally came around the time I was doing a lot of inner feminine spiritual work. I came here to understand why I crave certain colors at certain times. This was very enlightening.
My Spirit color is turquoise, (also my birth stone and native stone), but my favorite color is Crayola Green. Orange is second. You know, Red, Orange and Yellow stimulate your appetite. Look at fast food restaurants, (lots of reds and yellows)! I love ALL COLORS!! Tip: If you eat and you're trying to lose weight, eat from a blue plate or in a blue room. Blue will decrease your appetite. :-D
Teal is a warm blue. Elements of yellow but still blue. Or if it's brighterr, it's a cool green: soft vibrancy, calm/bubbly, air, sharing, stepping out? Lol just my perspective
Colour is my favourite thing in the whole world I’m obsessed with rainbows painting and tie dye anything that involves playing with colours like anything. My home is like a rainbow explosion. 🌈💕
I bathe in pink light on a daily basis and it helps very well with relaxation and stress relief. It is very soothing emotionally and on the eyes. Emotional healing.
I once spent time in a hostel, Lucky Lake Hostel, near Amsterdam, where everything was painted in bright colors. People stayed in small cabins and trailers and every trailer and cabin was painted in a different color. I felt so happy there. And ever since my stay I wonder if it was because of all those colors and if I should paint my home like that. Also I wonder if people in the 1970s for example were happier because the clothing and all the home textiles were so bright and cheerful then. Nowadays everybody likes neutrals. Why is that? Any thoughts?
because of all the house flipping and buying selling of real estate. people have been conditioned to believe that neutrals sell better, and therefore now it has become part of our capitalistic programming.
I discovered your teachings a few months ago,You have led me towards inner truth,I cant say its been all positive. The coping mechanism i learned in childhood was suppression of all emotion,Numbness is all i know so im learning to feel, trying to process.I just saw hidden secrets, the image that came to me as i listened to you was a Phoenix blazing up from the ashes. You are Powerful and amazing, thanks for sharing your love, light and truth.xoxo
Talented, informative, classy, giving and well spoken. You’re an amazing lady that’s come through hell (man made creation) and back. My sincere appreciation for what you do for mankind. 🙏🏻🌻 Sweet, kind and loving, too.
Currently reading this book "Light: The Future Of Medicine" and synchronicity is pulsating right now. Guides have been telling me the importance of full spectrum lighting, sun gazing and Plasma. I feel like the "third eye" is a mouth too where we can eat colors
Corey Varney Isn't it an amazing book? The weather here has been on the dreary side so I haven't been able to sungaze as much lately and my Soul feels it. What is life without that daily solar meal? Its been halfway depressing I'm finding. Lovely synchronicity though 😄
When I was living in Italy or in the UK, I never liked or wore the color pink or purple... Then I moved to Ireland and all of a sudden half my wardrobe is purple and pink. This has come naturally not thinking about it. It all makes sense to me in the way I am now drawn to these colors. And the role they have in my life, primarily: spirituality,intuition/inner wisdom for purple; nurturing, romance, care and love - and my personal meaning of maternity - for pink.
Teal, I just love you and your super shimmery earrings. Your videos are always so relaxing and uplifting. This beautiful giant rainbow cube background made me smile right away. This is such an awesome video idea, I love how we know which color to choose now, with your descriptions. I don't wear enough color, so now I will start.
I was also saying to myself 'not enough colours in my wardrobe' although i have made an effort lately, still.. :) This video made me want to wear all sorts of vibrant colours! :) (and i also stare at her earrings in every video! so many cool pairs! lol I do love the content too, dont get me wrong ;)
I love soft blues and deep greens. But I sense that I need more red and gold in my life to balance myself better. I will start to wear more of these colours and pick outfits that suit them. However gold is a tricky one to pull off without looking tacky.
Until I was 7-8 I was obsessed with pink. After my parents divorce people used to make fun of me and I attracted many sad experiences. Then turned into green and blue on my teens, also brown and a bit of orange and red, and hated pink which made me feel like vulnerable. Then I turned to black, on my 20s, it made me feel protected and more powerful (even dyed my hair black) until this year when I naturaly felt attracted more to grey and blue while healing many wounds and experiencing changes on my perception. I like pink again and also white.
I found this to be a very telling video! As Ive moved throughout my life, my preferences for colors have indeed changed! When listening to Teal explaining what various colors associate with, I see where they have affected me! Interestingly enough, the colors I decorate with, especially on my walls, are different than what I'd wear, with one exception...pink! Color therapy has definitely taken on a new surge in many areas of study! This is another fascinating subject!
Teal, this is one of your best, and my favorite video you have ever done!!! Very informative, and my favorite subject!!! Thank you for producing this video, and posting this.
As a student of Vedanta, I salute your teachings. Isn't it amazing that what Vedanta said 3000BC is now proved by Quantum Physics. Your understanding of both is commendable. 🙏
Thank you....this was so beautifully said...... ....pure undyed linen naturally brings a range of shades between a nearly luminescent silver and soft beige silver....It does feel deeply connected with the moon....we should all be careful about the vibration of synthetic dye in clothing.....also alum mordants being added to plant dyes....
I am taking a colour therapist course to become a colour therapist. I have done colour therapy sessions for about 2 years. It's amazing and yes there is scientific facts behind it.
I recently discovered your videos through Infinite Waters. Your videos resonate so strongly with me, I have found myself binge watching all of them. I love the raw truth you are discussing. You have helped ne to have so many epiphanies over the last 48 hrs, I can't even begin to describe the way I feel at this moment. You are truly amazing and I'm so glad to have found this channel. Much Love! Blessed Be!
I love the topic however I wish you go deeper into how to choose the color. For instance, if I am often attracted to red, does it mean that I have to surround myself with more red? I am also very interested in colors for physical ailments. Hope you would discuss this in your future videos:)
Thank you for your guide, it is really new way to realize every things is connected. I am from Vietnam, far away from your place. try to improve every single day to open third eyes, open awareness, knowledge for the best and suitable way to converting energy, getting energy, save energy and use energy. Again. Thank you. Ms. Teal Swan.
I feel like to bring myself out of an anxiety attack I have to find my color and when I feel an attack I need to concentrate and focus on its energy after that I need to slowly connect myself to the world around me as a whole
yay, thank you for the old intro and thank you for this video! everyday i will wear my stones of one of the chakras! today it is orange carnelian, tomorrow is citrine, wednesday is green chrysoprase, etc. thank you for enlightening me, reminding me about power of colors!! namaste!
Black is all color combined. In art to get Black all colors are mixed. It is everything and nothing at the same time. It is point zero. It is all potentiality. It is the Great I Am. When the Great I Am extends itself it is The Light. The vibration of that Light determines the color. It is "I am being..." vs. I am doing..." One must Be before he can Do. They are not juxtaposed. They work in tangent.
black is absence of light, an absence of colour, a black object is not reflecting light. you cannot mix all paint colours to get black, try it, you’ll get brown or grey or a murky green. All colours together make white - a spectrum is white light that has split into its constituent colours. Black paint is made from a black substance, lamp black and white paint is made from white pigments like titanium or zinc. You can’t “mix” either black or white with other paint colours.
Can i get a link to this picture you used here ( 5:12 ) please? I had to pause the video for a a few minutes to study that. I'd like to get a downloadable image for reference purposes. Thank you!
Love ya Teal, & thanks for sharing. A side note- My high-school was constructed with no windows in classrooms and all classrooms were painted red, orange, and yellow.
On studying history of alchemy, there are references of physical healing of natural base tinctures made by color of fruits, flowers, powders of metals and stones. Those prescriptions were very colorful :D
Ive always visualized songs with a specific color(s) associated with them and could only listen to some song during the day or night depending on the color, interesting. deffinitly want to look into color therapy now
Teal, I love you so much! All of your videos inspire me and they ALWAYS help me in someway. And I love the style of your videos, there's so much information in them! I also love the sound of your voice, very soothing :) You are my favorite RUclipsr, you're so pleasant to watch/listen to. THANK YOU!!!😊❤️
I used to really hate yellow and orange, for some reason. I still don't appreciate bright yellow or bright orange, but I can appreciate more muted tones of those colors. I sense that this might have to do with chakras ?
I'd be interested in seeing an episode on what exactly happens with the energy field(aura or whatever you wanna call it)around a being when they feel strong emotion,I'd like to hear Teal's take on it and an explanation of how it looks from the outside. Also if the auras of people with different traits look very different or not so different. For example an old man's aura compared to a child's,or a homosexual person's aura compared to a straight person's aura.Just everything about energies and auras fascinates me :D
This is really interesting, I'm a leo and also pitta body type. I experience all the traits already associated with red, orange and yellow. My favorite color is white, since it reminds me of childhood and innocence, i remember my early childhood once I see this color, seems it is trigger to activate my memory for remembering certain things of my primitive years.
Never connected my resistance to the color grey to my overly-controlling relationship with Self and subsequent resistance to conservatism and stillness. I always wondered why cloudy or even foggy days made me dissociate from my body so badly compared to sunny days. I wrote a poem years ago called Grey, and it was all about this feeling of being suffocated by stillness, time passing without any color or sensation or meaning to show for it. Am I misunderstanding this color? My relationship to it feels antagonistic, and I wonder what I might not be noticing.
I am looking at this for the first time. I don't even have a favorite color. How can I find help using color? I want to oxygenate my body. Is there color that does that?
I always wear white, grey, or black shirts with different shades of blue jeans and black shoes. Not because what color therapy may say but because I lack a sense of fashion and I have little money to spend.
It was very interesting! I loved when Teal told some of the meanings of the colors and I also loved the background. I felt like I'm a little kid and I want to go play inside of the cubes . I love all the colors except for grey.. it makes me feel cold :/ and empty .. I don't know why is that but yeah all the other colors are fun 💖 .. I don't hate the color.. I have few shirts that are grey but if I'd chose what color I want my room to be then def. not grey :D
Red is my favourite color, but i associate it with, not war, but fighting. I really like green too, i associate it with nature and death, but in a beutiful way. So there it is fighting nature and death, but in posative connotation.
Loved this video! Please do another similar video to go more in depth. I love wearing blues and purples, but avoid warmer colors. I love looking at bright colors though. Colors are amazing, great video Teal! :)

Did you know that the color "Teal" (bluish green) is good for manifestation? This is the color of the higher heart chakra
Teal is a warm blue. Elements of yellow but still blue. Or if it's brighterr, it's a cool green: soft vibrancy, calm/bubbly, air, sharing, stepping out? Lol just my perspective

It's more like a cyan/greenish color.
Wow, I was literally asking the other day what Teal represents.
Thankyou so much for this
I'm down to read a book about color by Teal.

Loved this!! A video about astrology would amazing
Very nice and lighthearted video!
I used to really hate yellow and orange, for some reason. I still don't appreciate bright yellow or bright orange, but I can appreciate more muted tones of those colors. I sense that this might have to do with chakras ?

such a genius you are teal!!!!!
I loved This video!!! ♡ so informative and useful as always. Really helped n out today ♡♡♡
You're amazing Teal please keep making videos x
Hi Teal! Can you make more videos on astrology?
This is really interesting, I'm a leo and also pitta body type. I experience all the traits already associated with red, orange and yellow. I never realised this before because I didn't know, but I've never felt the urge to wear any of these colours. I'm always drawn to pink, purples and blues instead. I wonder if this is because when I'm feeling a pitta imbalance, its normally expressed and experienced with excess heat, maybe thats why i'm drawn to the calm, healing properties of blue to wear
ooooh now I know why I identity myself with the rainbow peace to you all and good vibes have colorful life.
Please write a book about color and all!
My favorite color is white, since it reminds me of childhood and innocence, i remember my early childhood once I see this color, seems it is trigger to activate my memory for remembering certain things of my primitive years.
I'm a very outgoing and extroverted person who enjoys being isolated to work on creative endeavors with my preferred color being blue.
Life makes so much more sense now.
Loved this!
You should write that book! It would SELL and I wanna buy it!
one of the best video by teal
You are a true warrior

I am looking at this for the first time. I don't even have a favorite color. How can I find help using color? I want to oxygenate my body. Is there color that does that?
such a lovely video!!
hearing again, this makes a greater impact than the first time i heard it. the difference? the drinks.
I always wear white, grey, or black shirts with different shades of blue jeans and black shoes. Not because what color therapy may say but because I lack a sense of fashion and I have little money to spend.

The picture of trump made me spit out my water! (figuratively speaking)
I'm grateful for the lesson I'll try it
Hm, can color therapy apply to the foods we eat affecting us in these ways as well?
Thank you as always Teal!!! ❤️
