Oh we sure thank u for it hour tutorial is wonderful great cup ! I’ve noticed Ive made so many of these I use 1 brown alcohol ink, then add another brown, 1 ends up repelling and makes a bare spot - so I needed a restart!

Hi! Great tutorial! Here from the most resent 120 wood grain cup tutorial. There you explain that the india inks don’t work with alcohol. The link provided here for the ink is for India ink also the bottle is different. Wondering if it’s no longer available? Could you post a picture of the bottles? Thank you!
do you do epoxy directly after you are done or do you seal the grain with clear coat, etc before epoxy? Wondering if epoxy activates the ink again. Great video, thank you!
Great question! Sorry , I'm new at this :) When I make that first kind of outline of the area, I have Alcohol on the brush, you are basically taking away and pushing the ink to make a void to then go in and start forming those inner lines.
I'm starting a group on Facebook and have several more tutorials in the works. If you are interested feel free to join: facebook.com/groups/416152125637462
I use then from the bottle full strength but use an alcohol dampened brush so that thins the color. I put it on cup right from the bottle, and let my brushing thin it if that makes sense?
This looks amazing! I’m waking to make a baseball bat and this is the perfect color!
