54:18 aaah Tonight's a Jazzy Night, what a perfect music to play for the first time into the "ʞɹɐꓷwDemon" Castle, it's amazing how the notes work together.
Fun Fact: You're Izayoi has a lot in common with the final boss theme of "McDonald's Treasure Island Adventure". Instruments, song key, tempo, you name it. Then again, both games were made by Treasure, so I suppose it makes sense.
I’ll definitely marathon the whole thing, but, for right now, I can safely say as both a researcher and a person who loves video game music, I love stuff like this, being able to see how soundtracks are structured. Sky High uses a lot more sound channels than I was expecting! 😅 From a literal technical standpoint, these kinds of videos are always a treat. Thank you so very much. Video game music definitely deserves more love and respect than it actually gets.
Headdy's music is such straight fire, the guys at Treasure are absolute madlads! Well worth listening to if you want to hear what the Sega Genesis can make...
i always loved the soundtrack of this game. and to see the oscilloscope view. 🤯 The DAC usage is just nuts, i didn't know that escape hero had really fast panning on FM1 and hustle maruyama is FAST as frick BOI!
Hustle Maruyama, Tower of Puppet, Sky High, and Dark Demon's Song are some of my favorite Genesis songs...Then, there's I Sing...I. SING. That funky, outright feast-to-the-ears masterpiece of a track--it's the absolute shit, and I adore it above all else in this OST.
One of the best games and soundtracks to come from the Mega Drive. Headdy is such a classic game.

51:00 This rocks!
Sounds similar to the Final Boss music in "McDonald's Treasure Island Adventure", also by Treasure.
💥
This has no reason to go this hard.
Can you do a sega genesis oscilloscope soundtrack of trampoline terror please
Nice! You should do Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Movie next. The Genesis one I’m talking about lol
I could do that one.
