My mother came from Aberdeen and i have so many happy childhood memories of visiting friends and family. Came back last year and was frankly heartbroken by the state of the City today, particularly Union Street. Could be anywhere these days...
It is such a shame, I lived in Aberdeen in the early noughties & it was still a great place to stay then. Now it’s full of Muslims wearing Northface hoodies, vape shops & phone repair shops. Walking up Union street now may as well be Birmingham. It’s the way every single city in the uk is going & it breaks my heart, we’ve let culture diversity ruin (migrants) ruin this country 😢
I could actually weep when I watch this given the state of the city now.

It’s not. Now it’s really depressing and there’s like no good shops lol
People are considerably better dressed than nowadays. And not one person gawping at an iPhone!
I live in aberdeen
Just look how busy Union Street is, not to be seen again,
Just before the N. Sea oil was discovered and Aberdeen became an oil town.
Aberdeen - it's Gaelic for hypothermia!
Yes that’s true!
Why is it not raining 😂
And just look at the state of it now an absolute 💩 hole
