The brutality he speaks of in my head canon begets the carcharodons. Corvus sent many amongst his children away because of their brutality. NO other chapter is more brutal than the carcharodons but yet speaks high gothic. They are sons of the raven. Lurking in in the dark ocean of the void seek, swimming, searching for who they may devours.

Yep they were /are brutal, but none of them could compare to what was the tribe that later became the 19 legion( terran descent), in wich they were, well, some of them sent in "suicide missions" since they were more brutal and violent , with add up of their loyalty (they liked horus more).
When they refer to the exiled raven guard, they are referring to the ashen claws blackshields, they scared the night lords out of the nostramo system during the scouring
Corvus is such a cool primarch, we need more about him.

I just love the idea of raven guard in Centurion armor, just when you think they are only about being sneaky you have a couple of all black Centurion pop up to remind you that they can be a hammer as easy as they can be daggers.

I am a newbie to the whole world of Warhammer 40k
and I find my self attached to the raven guard legion I see them as an army of light that fights in the shadows like assassins creed
or the night watch from the song of ice and fire books I generally love raven crows assassins emo characters lol thanks to this video I can say I found my favourite adoptus Astartes so thanks I guess ❤

There armor would lock in place producing almost zero recoil!
Add to that fact they are the best shots out of all the first born legions, and you have one deadly bloody sniper!
Really only thing is the range of sniper rifles they use in 30-40k...

Would you ever consider making a series of videos on “True Blood” lore? It was a really amazing show on HBO in the mid 2000s that doesn’t get enough attention. There were only 7 seasons so not as much lore as Warhammer but honestly True Blood and 40k have a lot of similarities.

It just seemed that you put so much effort into so many aspects of this video but when it came to one easy but very visible element you got replaced by someone who had no idea about 40k. In a way, I even got "angry on your behalf". Like 9 out of a team of 10 are great at their job but the 10th decided not to their part and so undermine the other's painstakingly spent hours.

I’m new to the war hammer franchise, but I’ve been playing hessery card game for quite a bit and I have to admit the raven gaurd is my top favorite loyalist legion. This tribute makes more the reason to stay with them.
Your voice and these tributes should be playing over the P.A. of every 40k tournament. The videos are extremely motivating and every one of them that I've watched has inspired me to grab more BL books.

A humble correction from a humbler son of Corax who enjoys your take on lore: 4:25 "Once a slave" was never Corax. His first act as a sentient being was ripping off the head of an oppressor, and lovingly handing it to future ship mistress Nasturi Ephrenia whom he on the spot liberated. He thought of himself as little more than a number at that point. He was named the opposite of a slave on the spot that very moment, and little has changed. Couldn't even catch the man on Istvaan III. Corax was once a slave in the same way Angron was once the lord of Macragge. Never happened.

A good raven stays out of the spotlight. If he is doing his job right, you won't even know he is there. Once in a while, he might step on stage just to fix a problem, to set something right. But then before you even realize he was there or what he did, he's gone.
I hate that my favorite Astartes are the Emo Ninjas of 40k...but they are my favorites.

But its just funny to me, they go for stealth tactics with bulky powersuits.
Would be nice to see a less bulky powersuit for their chapter that goes with their tactics
