I've actually found myself reciting the final litany when I'm playing games where I know I'm gonna die a lot (or just games where I play as the krieg)

If the air doesn't kill it, the minefields, trainees, and the occasional artillery barrage. Krieg itself is a War World after all.
I could feel the anger here, it was evident that you were gritting your teeth at “forever burning the world into ash”. Amazing voice acting, it really elevated this video, I felt like I was in some sort of “closet of fury” and I could really FEEL the vocal performance. Keep up the amazing work!

Seriously, can we get this man to make a movie with Universal Pictures. I mean hear the power in his voice. It brings chills through my body. Yt is full of people talking and explaining. But this man makes you feel like you stand in the dead centre of it al. Makes you feel like you can hear and see the cannonf roar around you on the battlefield. Everytime I'm on the lowest point, BS happening in work that affecting me or just exhausted/tired both mental and physical, but mostly mental is the one that affected the most. Worst no one know your at that level and mostly they just ignore it. This video is the one keep me going and marching on my everyday life even though you know you have all the reason not to do. But you still have to do it for the sake of yourself, family and the promise you made to god. The dream you decide and embark in this cruel worlds. You had to hold on. Hold the line, until you ether you reach the final goal or die trying.

I listen to a lot of audio stories, either on RUclips or another Podcast. The emotion you are able to portray with how you speak, how you say it but in just your voice, is by far one of the best I've heard! I hope you are looking into voice acting or something more profitable? I just want to say once again, what you've done here is amazing.

I don't know if was official but I found an audio story of a Krieger who was knocked out during an assault and pinned under rubble for a few days, presumed dead. Lived among civilians for a few months under assumed identity until his work party got wiped out by cultists that the Krieg had initially been sent to fight. He knew then what his purpose had been. To stand between the civilians and the Dark. Joined the planet's next tithe of troops to the Emperor and went back to war.

There's a quote from hagakure (Yamamoto Tsunetomo) about a samurai telling his daimyo about a very old warrior in a village they're passing and how they should visit him, the daimyo says something like "'old' warrior?, has that man no shame?".

You know, I think I pinned it down. People love Krieg for the same reason they love gotrek and other slayers in fantasy. Every last krieger has big slayer energy. All they want is to die, and any success any victory where they come out on top is bittersweet and thats really poetetic in a grimdark universe: that even when you win you lose.

I have a cool theory how the story for the krieg could end. 500 years of dishonor And war against imperium.
So for them to gain their honor back and to make everything even Stephen they must give 500 years of honorable combat for the imperium.

I believe they came into service in late M41, but isn't close to M42 already? The hard thing in Warhammer 40k is what year it is during events.

There was Deamons, Space Marines, titans, Inquisition, and endless zeal on both sides. If any other Guard tried to fight this, they would have been decimated and unable to recover.

Love the emotion in these videos. Very hard to pull that off. For a second I actually thought I could here a krieg guardsman say this.
First I love the voice of the narrator truly awesome. I rate these wonderful videos up there with Grimm dark narrator and Baldamort. Second the kreige should be the stormtroopers of the inquisition. They are the Prussians of 40k. I always think of the old marching tune Prussian glory when I see them
This was amazing, better than I thought it would be and I knew it would be top tier.
I don't think being genetically grown humans would get the reaction from the Inquisition unless their was something more. I personally believe when Colonel Jurten passed he was used to geneseed all future Kriegmen. So as Primarch is to Space Marines, Colonel Jurten is to Kriegers. Also this tribute was amazing. IG has always been my favorite faction, just something about that underdog feeling that gets me every time, especially in 40k. But the Death Korps is just the icing on that cake, something strangely admirable about them in away only possible in 40k. 40k my favorite fantasy setting that I would absolutely not want to live in.
But what about the Krieger womenfolk? I almost see the frame of reference in which I was raised as a tiny little kid on that planet, and in which I love my mommy and my daddy there, and in which I still live there.
There would be so many compulsory genetic assays for health. There would be so many stillborn, so many non-assistable live births, so many euthanasias and so many compulsory sterilizations. Genetic damage would mean that even when healthy Krieger did not die in wars, their natural lifespans would still be much shorter than other humans. What about the newborns who are viable, but who have mobility impairments such as cerebral palsy -- such as myself? Do the Kriegers let them live?
I wonder who on that world -- if anyone -- made an edict that only Krieger *males* could be tithed? Is Krieg still balkanized at the planetary government level, or is there an an overarching government on the world of Krieg? Women are more vulnerable to the effects of nuclear radiation, so I could see obliging all future childbearing women and all mothers to stay in the bunker-warrens under the ground. But do we argue from this that Krieger womenfolk do not go to the surface, or that they are not tithed?
Are Kriegers even allowed to decide for themselves wether to have children? What quotas and protocols exist about this? For, I can tell you for certain ... such rules about children exist on Krieg. What fertility assistance is there? What genetic therapies are there? Which of these methods, if any, are subsidized by the Imperium? What is the incidence of sexual violence? What is the incidence of other crimes?
I know that it would worsen my clinical depression, but I would almost go there for many months or many years, and write an anthropology dissertation on them. I also find it so very interesting, Ogryn are so formidable that if they travel to Krieg, Ogryn do not require masks.
I mean probably some but not all.
Diverts was importanted as most like companies that fought during the civil war were told to give some of their dna to cloning vats.
Soldiers both men and women would’ve bred then had their children give a sample of there blood.
@@hoffenwurdig1356 I was thinking that the "cloning" process isn't like making an exact copy in this cause, more like building people, but they all have a genetic connection to the Colonel. With this system, you could think of them as his sons and daughters, not exact copies. And with them being grown in vats, don't have to worry about interbreeding, and I doubt the Kriegers have the time for that.
While i absolutely love the Voice you use for the Videis about the Astra Militarum, i honestly think, that a Video about Krieg should have a softer voice, since most Kriegsman have a life expectancy of about 10 minutes, it makes sense, that a younger Person would speak about the Death Korps.
