Most of these guys say no because of religious reasons. My instinct would be first, “Absolutely not because I would not be attracted to the same gender regardless as to whether they have had surgery.” My religious principles wouldn’t come into play as much as my basic attraction. It seemed like most of these men were being very gentle around the topic which shows how young people have been indoctrinated and have to be very careful around these woke topics.
@@grambi If you are mostly straight and are attracted to a trans person and aren't turned off knowing they are the same sex as you, either you have been able to completely delude yourself that it's not the same sex as you or you are actually bisexual...at the very least you have bisexual tendencies. Homosexuality is same sex attraction. If you are attracted to the opposite sex then you are straight, If you have an attraction to both sexes then that's bisexuality, even if there's more of a preference for one sex over the other. It doesn't need to be complicated. There is a lot of bisexual people with their own internalised homophobia who want to claim they are completely straight but they aren't. If these type of men were more open and proud instead of blaming society for their denial then maybe there would be less confusion. yes that is my overall impression, that these young men do not feel comfortable or safe speaking the obvious truth - which is that they understand perfectly that these men who identify as women are not women, and they aren't attracted to men. I don’t know how I feel? As a Thai, I grew up seeing trans women date just like us women, although there are definitely more barriers. BUT you definitely see them date and I never find their romance weird or anything. A little tip for this type of question, the interviewer should play 'devil's advocate' and ask the toughest possible questions from the opposing side. This guy was just kind of agreeing with, rephrasing, and justifying, people's answers, which was a bit awkward.
The majority of people who say yes to this question aren’t answering truthfully, they’re answering out of fear that saying no will come with negative consequences which does happen because the activists get aggressive.
And they believe that they will never face that choice in real life - they think they will never be in a situation where they might be faced with a trans woman who wants to date them. It’s easy cowardice for them.

I think sex has been so twisted and shaped by culture to the point that it's constantly presented as being only about pleasure, disregarding its fundamental purpose of reproduction. Gay is a slang term that either refers to someone who is happy or a homosexual. It is a very black and white issue. Because those are the definitions of those terms. The only question is whether the transwoman is a man or a woman. The question of whether a man is attracted to a transwoman is a good indication of where he personally stands on that issue. And so the question is important for that reason.

I notice a trend of more honesty and less fear creeping into the answers from University students than even a year ago.
Most of these guys say no because of religious reasons. My instinct would be first, “Absolutely not because I would not be attracted to the same gender regardless as to whether they have had surgery.” My religious principles wouldn’t come into play as much as my basic attraction. It seemed like most of these men were being very gentle around the topic which shows how young people have been indoctrinated and have to be very careful around these woke topics.

Homosexuality is same sex attraction. If you are attracted to the opposite sex then you are straight, If you have an attraction to both sexes then that's bisexuality, even if there's more of a preference for one sex over the other. As Blaire White said, she considers men who are into transwomen to be their own unique orientation. She references that sexuality is a spectrum and people can be various ends of the kinsey scale. They are obviously attracted to feminity but perhaps it's best to refer to them as pansexual, that they are attracted to the person as a whole. "Hearts, not parts". I believe this is a nuance that has not been discussed in these videos.
Well, there's nothing stopping any of these men expressing that preference and they're frank, open discussions so I think that's your answer.

When I listen to people saying "I'm open to anything" , I immediately think about animals, things, children, and whatever kind of distorted or disgusting things , like , "I don't care about anything in life, and beside, I'm able to do whatever goes against other's beliefs just because I'm free",... I don’t know how I feel? As a Thai, I grew up seeing trans women date just like us women, although there are definitely more barriers. BUT you definitely see them date and I never find their romance weird or anything. Most of them are pretty transparent about their sexual orientation sooooo seeing people (here) so weirded out by dating trans women make me think that it’s not about just taste but …something else lol.
I wonder if the men in Thailand who are attracted to trans women do not feel that it is shameful, but equally so, men who aren’t attracted to trans women don’t believe they have to pretend otherwise.
In the U.K., political campaigners claim that if someone is attracted to women but not trans women, then that person is transphobic - having that preference makes you a bigot. So people are scared of saying they aren’t attracted to trans women because they don’t want to be called a bigot.

A little tip for this type of question, the interviewer should play 'devil's advocate' and ask the toughest possible questions from the opposing side. This guy was just kind of agreeing with, rephrasing, and justifying, people's answers, which was a bit awkward.
The majority of people who say yes to this question aren’t answering truthfully, they’re answering out of fear that saying no will come with negative consequences which does happen because the activists get aggressive.
And they believe that they will never face that choice in real life - they think they will never be in a situation where they might be faced with a trans woman who wants to date them. It’s easy cowardice for them.

You won’t get any better than that, so feel free to reinstall Tinder or dating apps, because again…sometimes people put themselves in wrong when they register. Nothing we can do about it.
